I know it's not really my business as a non-donater, but has anyone ever donated something to a dominance raffle, and then not had that item used? Light's most recent in-flight raffle had multiple 7+yo fest items, uma's, and other miscellaneous non-fodder tibits that I would've really liked to win. I understand that they'll likely be available for future raffles, but I really would've preferred to win a Nebula or Night Sky silk set or potentially even Starlit Pants during the Starry Night Festival, like it fit the theme just fine. Kind of bummed, because their past raffles haven't been so stingy, usually they only hold back fodder items. Is this usual for other dom teams?
If someone changes their name to "NameChange" with a bunch of random numbers, do you think that means they are self reporting as a multi? Or know they are gonna get banned or some shit? Someone who messaged me a week ago suddenly changed their name to that and I'm genuinely curious.

The more UMAs I create the more I understand why so many artists lean so hard on "dark earth." It is genuinely just easier to hide the original lines and shadows and not have your design fucked over by the inconsistent rules about transparency levels. I'm not trying to pack in so much detail the dragon is reduced to 6 pixels of skydancer behind a stained glass window covered in spider lilies and koi fish, I just want an extra set of fancy horns. But because I have a light-colored base I get to fight with the queue for 6 weeks and scrape for every percentage of reduced opacity only to have it come out looking like ass anyway.
This is how we ended up with 3 functional accent styles on this hellsite.

All I can think is they're being sold exclusively by people on my block list, they're always being bought, and/or they're bugged and can't be found on the AH.
Or I'm stupid and missing something.

Huh, you're right, I see no listings for Riopa and 2 listings from 1 user for Mochlus. They are pretty popular genes so I wonder if they're being sniped for flipping so that's also why you're not seeing them on the MP?

Maybe you could use those gems to get wolf art? Not the same as getting useful items but it's something.
One of my fave things to do on FR is surfing around peoples accounts looking at profiles, dragon bios, etc. So when I come across what I assume are song lyrics I like to plug them into youtube and listen to the song lol. Some of my fave songs came from me doing this

If you’re someone who is sensitive to moving lights, images, or colors online or if you just don’t like them, you have the option to force a setting globally, called prefers-reduced-motion, through your operating system:

☑️ Windows 10: Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Display > Show Animations in Windows
☑️ MacOS: System Preferences > Accessibility > Display> Reduce Motion
☑️ iOS: Settings > Accessibility > Motion> Reduce Motion
☑️ Android: Settings > Accessibility > Remove Animations

Hmmm leaning towards Coli PVP, or maybe a Fairgrounds revamp? I can’t imagine many other places on the site where animation makes sense (besides adventure mode, which we know it isn’t.) I guess it could also be Maps but I can’t imagine what more could be done with that.

Oh this is almost certainly guaranteed. They did this with vistas and scenes. Anytime a new cosmetic is introduced, it becomes part of the next fest cycle. Effects are absolutely BEGGING for it.
