I just sat down and looked through my random dragon offers recently. Realized I almost never sell to unsolicited offers that didn't have a price in the initial offer. There is a very distinct pattern.
Interesting! And good to know, tbh. I usually don't come straight out with an offer, in case the owner of the dragon I'm interested in has sth else in mind. (I'll make one once they've confirmed they're okay with selling). But maybe I should do this more? Anyway, thanks for sharing!
i have it in my FAQ for this very reason, to please include an offer when asking about a dragon. 90% of the time if someone doesn't, i really don't feel like trying to look up or figure out a price and just end up forgetting about the DM. whereas most of the time if someone does give me an offer, i'll actually follow through (and might just give it to them for free if it's a cheap enough g1)
