The more I see skin drama the more I want to off myself ngl. I'M SO FUCKING SICK OF ALWAYS SEEING SHIT ABOUT SKINS. It's always fucking dumb but people will go back and forth forever about it just parroting the same responses. Can you guys find some better shit to talk about omfg. If I played a drinking game for each post about skin drama I would be 6 feet under

Then find us some drama worth talking about. It's been that, someone doing a trolling speedrun to get banned, and people trying to demonize water for trying to see if they could get a single flip for funsies.

The skin chat at least gives us someone to roast a bit.

If I played the actual game more I would. I'm here to read actual interesting tea, not someone whining about fest skins (especially the winners cause omfg) all the goddamn time. It's fine to bring up skins here and there, I'm not really expecting it to go away nor do I want it all to. I'm just sick and tired of 3+ pages of back and forth saying the same shit in a different way. This could apply to a lot of stuff people post here but mainly skin threads get blown tf outta proportion and lose the plot.

And it's not really roasting atp, it's pretty much haters v fanboys and both sides suck so much ass

Honestly, there hasn't been good drama in months. If you sit here, you're just going to be bored. Because the next thing is a festival... which is either gonna be skin bitching or apparel rants.

I almost think we need to find non drama topics to get something interesting.

idk if i think it's a good or bad thing that there's no drama. like is it a sign the userbase is growing up and getting more mature? or is the site dying? or both? it's probably a net good that there's not stuff blowing up every other day but i also live for the drama

Yeah I'm not checking this place on the regular because I know a lot of times it's slow and I am not gonna make my life about finding new things on FR to bitch about. It feels like half the time that I do actually check here it's either nothing or something really minor. Which is fine on the other hand because drama can be exhausting and that means the player base is being somewhat well behaved lol. I just like to read interesting tea here and there.

I will say I avoid this place when fests hit because of the whole skin & apparel rants that happen each time lol

pleeeease don't allow it anymore. like, even when a new post isn't complaining about frequent fest winners, it seems to consistently get there anyway. i don't know if it's the same anons bringing it up every time but it's so tired... it never goes anywhere

I definitely see the same folks getting into a similar argument every time. I'll wait for Vasemod to wake up, and for some more folks to respond, then we'll make a decision, but I 100% have the same feeling.

I'm good with banning festival skin discussion or containing it. But can we still discuss drama like the dipshit that kept getting wins revoked for copyright stuff?

I personally would prefer it to be contained rather than banned altogether.

While it is mostly the same things over and over and over again, occasionally there might be something new or something new has been said etc..

i'd prefer skin drama be allowed but contained, so people who aren't interested can avoid it. i'd be worried that, if there was a flat "no skin drama" rule, conversations such as such as an artist toeing the line of "inspiration" a bit too closely or commissioners using skin artists as cash cows won't happen.

Yeah we wouldn't ban that- just specifically festival winners and the arguments involved, because it's such a circular debate.

not even festivals in general. I roll my eyes so hard whenever 888/MV gets brought up because the thread immediately gets derailed

Technically, every bit of debate/derailing on them I've seen is founded on bad feelings brought on by the festival shit.

Containing it is cool, but don't ban it please :( I like to read through it even if it's a dead horse - people arguing pointlessly is kinda the reason why I'm here. If I wanted people not arguing I'd go to FR, and if I wanted people arguing over something important I'd go to news dot com.

allow it but keep it contained, the same way we have wanker/dom/ot, we could have one for skin discussion. i like skimming along the drama!
