I personally would prefer it to be contained rather than banned altogether.

While it is mostly the same things over and over and over again, occasionally there might be something new or something new has been said etc..

i'd prefer skin drama be allowed but contained, so people who aren't interested can avoid it. i'd be worried that, if there was a flat "no skin drama" rule, conversations such as such as an artist toeing the line of "inspiration" a bit too closely or commissioners using skin artists as cash cows won't happen.

Yeah we wouldn't ban that- just specifically festival winners and the arguments involved, because it's such a circular debate.

not even festivals in general. I roll my eyes so hard whenever 888/MV gets brought up because the thread immediately gets derailed

Technically, every bit of debate/derailing on them I've seen is founded on bad feelings brought on by the festival shit.

Yeah even though I'm sick and tired of skin drama, even I don't want it banned all together. Like I know there's new things that could happen and things to be said. I'm just tired of when it's the same shit different day, ya know?

All for containing it and not banning all together. Fest skin stuff especially
