I used to have a message on my profile and in the descriptions of my fodder tabs saying ‘If it’s in XYZ tabs, it can be bought for 20kt. Send a CR with the dragon ID and I’ll send it over.’ While I had that up, I had people

- ask to buy ‘that Obelisk/primal/dragon named Cutiepie’ (I generally have 200+ fodder dragons in my lair/den, I dont know which dragon you’re talking about)
- send me CRs then ghost me for days
- be passive-aggressive or outright insulting while they ask for their dragon back
- send 20kt CRs for MY PERMAS

I had that message up for years and always told myself that I didnt want to deprive someone of their dream dragon or the perfect breeding project like yourself. But I just got utterly fed up especially after a couple of CRs from people asking for dragons that are nowhere near my fodder tabs. Obviously I’ve had plenty of normal people sending me normal requests for fodder dragons so it’s unfortunate that some bad apples have to ruin it for everyone but it’s just not how I want to spend my time on the site. I imagine it’s the same story for a lot of people who have ‘Don’t ask to buy my dragons if it’s not on the AH thanks’ messages.

+1 to all of this. at a certain point it just gets really grating when you want to help people get dragons they want but they either ignore you when you reply or they send you big pissy screeds about exaltation in general. dont even get me STARTED on when my lair's full of fodder for a dom push and im trying to exalt them quickly. i offered fodder trades/sales for a while but i just CBA at this point. now i have a fairly polite "none of my dragons are for sale" note in my main bio and i STILL get requests.

the name one always made me laugh though. i use a copy-paste name for my fodder so when someone asked "is sparkle for sale?" its like.... ive got 300 sparkles. which one, man

lol, I also use a copy-paste name for my fodder and for me the funnier messages are 'Thanks for giving [my fodder name] a good home'

I see people say this but I've genuinely never had this problem. I have a flat price listed, along with labeling all my tabs pretty well, and at most I have someone asking by name instead of ID, which isn't the end of the world since edit mode puts all the dragons on one page anyway.
