i definitely get what you're saying for sure, i was pretty hesitant on it myself with the original cat breeds they showed during the KS. have you checked out the more recent familiars or NPC art previews? i think the NPC art in particular shows the style a lot better, they did have a whole style change from the OG art direction

I was afraid that they were going to be too stylized (to the point they didn't look like cats but more cat like blobs or cat like noodles), but looking at the options, I sort of like the art now (I think I looked at it before and didn't like it)
Might have to wait until it is out of beta and see what it is like (don't want to play only for any progress to be wiped, plus not joining discord just for an invite)
Will have to see what the actual gameplay is like and what other cat breeds will look like (there are still some that I don't like because).
