my personal suspicion was bc he kept interacting with santae-salt on main lol i know CJ reads the blog and pretends not to, so probably realized it looked bad when a true staff member was commenting by name instead of anon

That's what side blogs are for.

They let me go because it turns out they didn't need a full time graphic designer with the current workload, as they do have another freelancer.

There was nothing to do with jumping ship or any bad blood, there simply wasn't enough work for me to be needed.

an anon above mentioned that they suspect he got fired because he kept interacting with the salt blog and based on this comment, i think that's what he was implying?? i have no clue. it almost reads like he's saying "i'm not staff so thats why i'm commenting!" but he was commenting on the salt blog posts while he was still on the staff, so... idk

Yeah, looks like his stupid ass got fired, or he quit because he couldn't BEAR to not interact with drama on main because again... he's a stupid ass.

It wasn't that. While I was on staff I didn't comment on the blog as I was instructed not to. It was just a lack of workload, where the freelancer they had hired as well was enough to cover the work needed, so there wasn't any need for a full time graphic artist.

Damnit I was hoping that his name wouldn't be brought up so we could see how long it took for him to figure out we were talking about him.

It's so funny to me that it's gotten to a point where a lot of ARR readers know that he's the one that must not be named. However I can see how that would be confusing to unaware people, but it's hard to tell who's in on the joke when it gets asked lol

Haha yeah, that's fair! Sorry for ruining the suspense. I can't always tells who's in on the joke either, so out of a wish to make others feel left out, I figured I'd tell them. I used to get bullied by folks making fun of me for not getting the inside joke and all giggling together about it, so I try not to be a part of something like that for others.

The only name I could think of that might be well-known enough to vague is Slash. I don't know if he's done anything in the pet sim space since selling FurVilla.

I think Chaz is working to displace Slash and the Pokefarm guy from the throne of Worst Pet Sim Admin.

This shit makes me feel fucking crazy. How the fuck is the game ever supposed to improve? I know the answer is that it isn't but god damn. More thankful for flight rising being significantly more normal about feedback.
