So let me get this straight... you're upset that people are spending money on others? Wouldn't it be worse if someone was flaunting finishing personal expensive projects? I'm failing to see why generosity of others is an issue. To be such a scrooge about glittering honestly sounds like you might need a new flight altogether if you hate light so much for it. Its literally what they do: Glitter.
I don't have an opinion on this one way or another but I'd just like to point out that the initial issue that started this whole conversation is people doing it/bringing it up in the wrong channel(s) specifically, which you and another anon (?) seem to have neglected.

Yea. The users are too busy attacking the others for being "selfish" to consider the issue is a channel built for containment has rules making it not serve its purpose.

yeah but it hasn't happened?? Like sure if it's just in general without anything prompting the salt but if someone did that recently then either I am stupid or blind because I can't see what messages that'd be!!! hence examples of tf would qualify for this!
Not one of the previous anons in this, but confused at why you think anyone should find "look at this expensive thing that I worked hard to fund and do for myself" as problematic. I could see why someone might find public "look at this expensive thing this person gifted me" posts annoying when there is a channel for it.
Especially as, in many communities I've ever been in, those channels have a tendency to devolve into cliquey as fuck and be the same rich people publicly gifting their friend groups back and forth to show how generous they are.
Mind, not in light, so not accusing, but I understand the POV.
