It's why, as an accent artist, I do customs at a markup.
They have to pay my base cost, pay for the blueprints etc. They get ONE copy, and if they want another copy, they have to pay for the blueprints again, individually, with a convenience fee that's 50% of each blueprint cost.
Do I get a lot of customs ordered? Nope. But it's how I make sure I'm not being used as a cash cow.
If they wanna profit off my work, I'm profiting, too.
