It's been fashionable to refer to lots of people's dislike of a particular person "_____ Derangement Syndrome" for a while now. I first heard it in reference to George W. Bush when he was president, implying people with Bush Derangement Syndrome just hated him for no good reason. Now Trump seems to be extremely fond of accusing his haters of having "Trump Derangement Syndrome" lately. So, not only is it a red flag for someone to use since it means "this person is super unpopular, for some reason! You better not start thinking the reason is good!!!" I also find it extremely ironic that AC is using it, given the kind of people the term is usually associated with.
