theres this attitude people have in art communities where if somebody does something wrong (ai, copying art, not actually copying art but getting too close, etc) its seen as the “right thing to do” to harass and ostracize them to punish them/get them to stop.

hit send by accident, sorry. i just think the chance of getting somebody wrong is way too high to justify hating on people like that. imo its worse to start a targeted hate campaign against 1 innocent person.

You should have no expectation that strangers on the internet will be kind to you, especially when you are advocating for a technology that is built from cruelty - which sources its ML image data from; financially bonded groups, pseudo-consensual "are you human?" popups, stolen sets of data torrented and scraped.
