This is why the whole bit about 'telling cis people that more options exist' rubs me the wrong way.
If you know the person is actively questioning their gender, sure, let them know.
But, sometimes people are just looking for a different style. Sometimes people just have different tastes. Sometimes people want to do something different.
It doesn't mean they are questioning their gender, or that they are trans.
I guess, I am just of the opinion that if you aren't sure what that person is going through, and whether or not your opinion would be welcome, keep it to yourself. If you know they are open to hearing your opinion (and this is on pretty much any subject), then go ahead and give it. But I see too many people who expect other people to always be ready and willing to hear *their* opinion (and they are often the people who really HATE when people have differing opinions to themselves), no matter who it is, and accept it without getting upset.
