no it doesnt. it has a connotation but context matters and the op clearly wasnt referring to marginalized groups. dont be deliberately obtuse. linguistic prescriptivism is bad regardless of ur motivation, ur not “standing up for marginalized groups” by pretending u dont understand what somebody meant when they use the wrong words, thats how u end up harassing random people who speak english as a second language.

it's not about a one-off incident, it's about them being consistently rude and hurting people's feelings with blunt and hurtful remarks that just aren't necessary

objectively, i'm correct about the definition of microaggression, because the word was explicitly created for that exact meaning.
