on the last thread i remember some people talking about people hacking into inactive accounts with valuable dragons in them. do we know if that's actually happening, or is that just suspicion?

Probably, considering the aforementioned post was of something from 2024 too (the incident where a user thought the lightning griffon was sexual). A lot of the more "recent" posts were of stuff that had clearly been sitting in the queue for a while by the time they did get posted.
is the best/fastest/least annoying way to track drops from the coli still to "just" put everything in the vault so all drops are the ones in your hoard? i have like 5 years of items and it seems annoying to have to do that, but i don't want to manually have to track things one by one as they drop in a spreadsheet or whatever either :'(
I think so but I will say I had to vault my entire hoard at one point and as horrible and tedious as that was, it is SO worth it for how much easier it made my life even apart from tracking Coli drops. Singling out the items I want to melt in Baldwin or Sophie, or that I want to sell on the AH or attach to CRs/PMs is so good that I still vault my hoard every week or so even though I dont have to anymore. Also dont forget that you can change the number of items you see per page for easier vaulting if you’re not already on the max view.

Oh my god they're amazing I love them. They are exactly up my alley. I love stupid dumb head empty no thought lizards. I love their big eyes. I love how chunk they are. I love they finally added a gene that gives dragons tusks. And they're not elementally aligned so no one can complain. They're perfect as far as I'm concerned

Baldwin was coded long before that feature was available. It will likely be a part of a rework.

For me the dopamine of hatching is not knowing what you're gonna get, making a bazillion new accounts just for the sake of eggs hoping you'll get a double or triple just sounds so tedious and boring.

I am surprised they did not put that protection in earlier, every time a new breed released where galore handed out eggs, I saw so many new accounts just hatching the free eggs and then funneling them to other accounts if they had good colors that could be sold for profit.

Just hatchlings? Probably not much. Afaik most folk into exalting prefer to train their fodder up before exalting so they'd need to grow up anyway to go into the coliseum, and I believe this is why adult dragons get snatched up, increasing fodder prices, during battles. At most it'd probably annoy people doing breeding projects looking for specific combos more than anything because now they'd have to wait 5 days to exalt their failures rather than immediately if they don't sell them.

I feel this is just a depressive / mental health thing. Lots of people struggling often think that what they have to say is meaningless and this seems like an attempt to get other people to do mental harm to them so they don't have to do it themselves. Nothing crazy IMO, just kind of sad - I also hope no one has done this to them.
