Okay I'm going to be honest one of my pet peeves as an indigenous person who enjoys FR;

Does anyone realise that literally anyone can claim to be any ethnicity. I've noticed a huge pattern where if natives are critisizing FR itself (eg. Aurobora lore) they're met with mixed responses, and oftentimes treated as overzeleous. *However*, I do notice that when someone anonomously claims to be native, and that they're restricted by anti-racism measures, suddenly every non-native knows how to be quiet and "supportive". To be clear this complaint isn't about the anon or the blanket skin itself, rather it's about the non-natives who are very eager to have an excuse to say "Uhmmm anti-racism measures is fucked up, actually".

G2 Imps: Fanglongmon 2???

Okay seriously what the flying fuck is up with Fanglongmon/Huanglongmon/whoever hacked their account or whatever went on with that ?????

User DiamondJewel #744995 came into existence shortly after the lock, started picking up pure G2 Imps in a similar manner, naming them after fandom characters, getting UMAs done in the exact same style as before. Now THAT account is locked, and I've just noticed user AerisLei #5067 ALSO recently picked up a few G2 Imps - some very old ones from dragonsrus's current purge, so they were NOT cheap - and their last forum activity was 5 years ago. Did that account get hacked too??? Feels a bit suspicious to have the same G2 Imp pattern???

Adding to the oddness, they friended user malafight #537583 just yesterday (seemingly dead lair, 0 energy dergs but one hatched a month ago; last forum activity over a year ago), and malafight friended DiamondJewel JUST before then, also on the 19th, so that lock had to have been EXTREMELY recent. malafight may not have anything to do with this but the timing is very weird.

The benign explanation is probably that this is a friend group from a different site that did some cross-site trading and has some overlap in FR interests, but that doesn't explain how DiamondJewel got locked (again???) or why a "friend" suddenly has the exact same pattern of pure G2 Imp collecting+naming.

I'm so confused. Also please leave some Imps for the rest of us goddamn it, I had my eye on one Aeris yoinked. ToT

Now SHIAN is locked? They've been trying to sell some 5-/6-digits recently that they picked up from another returning player (Kutnkill #35427), but I thought they'd been legit and active for like. Actual Years. Think this is part of the same wave of other old accounts getting hacked/RMT'd and locked or did Shian get got for something else??? (Possibly also still RMT from what I've heard lol but separately from the G2 Imp nonsense, at least?)

That "remove misinformation from IRL species-" thread in suggestions is great example of why they never should've removed the ability to delete your own threads after 10+ replies. I hate pedantic users bitching about """inconsistencies""" between FR items and their IRL inspirations, but now this guy is getting dunked on for 4+ pages and they can't even get rid of it.

am i the only one bothered when i see items-for-sale threads that are 'looking for fest chests' because they 'missed the fest'? to clarify, i totally understand if users are looking to purchase chests cos they don't want to farm coli, but when you do it every single fest and say you always 'just missed' it... yeah i have my doubts. please just make a regular buying thread without the guilt-tripping lol

honestly tserin got it figured out by identifying that exploiting teenagers w infinite time to melt materials for just enough that it seems to them like they're making a profit from melting is genius but also 19th century factory owner core ngl
cant complain too much tho bc tserin sells sooo many mats in ah and it helps keep the market somewhat consistent lol

Absolute salt to my pairs, as I've had an Imp breeding project for nearly Five Years now, and I still haven't gotten the hatchling I need. The odds aren't even that bad, the game just hates me. At least if we had scrolls I could've changed the parents into Tundras or something and sped up the breeding cooling by 2x, then changed the hatchling I want back to an Imp.

While I'm being petty, I don't really understand triple-gening G1s, breeding them, and then selling them for fodder prices immediately after the clutch hatches.

I'd wondered if it was a mistake since the dragons are both gened up (... well, I'd wondered if it was a mistake on the one I actually realized was a G1 last night when I was buying), but... ugh.

Honestly, I used to like the classic silks accents and never quite got the hate. But seeing those Divine Goddess Energy silk accents on Thorntails that look like they all have 1 shared braincell between them has really highlighted how ridiculous the trend has gotten. Like I literally can't think of a less fitting breed to look like a greek god.

Man, is this the first year where we didn't get a single new apparel set? We had a few miscellaneous things and recolors here and there- but no coordinated sets (as in 5+ pieces in a few colors) at all. Maybe we'll get something for NOTN I guess?
