Same, I loooved seeing how I could try and make my primal dragons work, but now they're expensive G2 projects. I don't even mind that they introduced more ways to get the eyes besides scattersights, I just wish it had been harder/more interesting than literally just paying money at the MP for a scroll. I'm forever wishing for more gameplay complexity in FR that isn't just aquire funds to buy thing from store.
Yeah, I am one who wanted some way outside of scatterscrolls to get the eye types on existing dragons and in my opinion, they took the cheapest and simplest way to add them. I was a personal fan of exalting for eye types.
Either you get a random eye type, or you would have to exalt a primal dragon to get a primal eye vial. Things along that line.
