Now SHIAN is locked? They've been trying to sell some 5-/6-digits recently that they picked up from another returning player (Kutnkill #35427), but I thought they'd been legit and active for like. Actual Years. Think this is part of the same wave of other old accounts getting hacked/RMT'd and locked or did Shian get got for something else??? (Possibly also still RMT from what I've heard lol but separately from the G2 Imp nonsense, at least?)

i'm gonna be real, if someone used flight rising currency to pay for a MORTGAGE, even if they ultimately got their account locked, i still feel like they came out ahead

I love seeing all the massive RMTers get smited. This is 100% me being a little hater but FR has like 5 rules. I don't get how these (always conveniently very FR-rich) players think they can get away with it.

Given their bio states that they were quitting and liquidating their stuff, I'm wondering if they knew they got caught.

That notice has been there for a while; Shian's been "quitting and liquidating" for months. I think they sold off their original 5-digits last year?

Not sure why they decided to pick up new old dragons to sell recently if they thought they got caught. Possibly a flip, but the dragons they picked up were posted at fair prices, so it wouldn't have been much of one...

I mean, I wonder if the liquidating / leaving was partly a cover for getting a few last trades through and then getting the hell out knowing the ban was coming

y'all do realize that banning the accounts with the G2/G3 Naomi progeny on them is just going to make the crazier collectors become obnoxious about G4/G5 Naomi progeny right?

will it though? idk a whole lot about the Naomi lineage, but Willows kids seem to be bred a lot so i feel like there wouldn't be as much of a supply issue?

ignoring my own personal feelings about Booleano, i do also kind of hope Willow gets locked down somehow. i think it's absolutely nuts that players can play this "ooooo i might only breed this dragon one more time!!! 300kg pls" game and then that not be the actual case in the end (due to new owner who can do whatever they want)

i mean, yeah? that's how lineages work.

even if booleano and prayer were to get locked for RMT-ing, there's about 55 Naomi G3s floating around that aren't owned by them (unrelated, Shian appears to have exalted several of theirs before they were banned). some of those owners have multiple Naomi G3s, some from her different lore/lineage mates (Ignis, etc.)

G3 Naomis are already fairly valuable. even if you think booleano's contest was BS there were still players willing to pay somewhere within a reasonable ballpark for a G3. now imagine, instead of there being the possibility of booleano changing their mind about producing anymore G3s, there's now absolutely no way to get anymore G3 Naomis and the only amount there will ever be are the ones that already exist, guaranteed, because the accounts they're on are locked.

suddenly the value of those G3s is assured because the supply is finite and in fact likely goes up because they're the only way to produce more G4 Naomis of certain lineages.

G4s probably wouldn't see an astronomical bump in price because, like you said, there's already a lot of them, but they'd still see a bump in value because they're the next best thing to a G3 because you can't get anymore of those unless you buy one that already exists. and G5s would become the new G4s.

additionally owners of the G3s would likely have to be more careful with their accounts getting hacked because of the value of their G3s.

my point is, getting mad about lineage dragons and the people who collect them is stupid because, outside of deleting every dragon from the lineage, it's still going to exist.

that and the op anon up there needs a life outside of fr because being allcaps mad about 2 people being dumbasses on the pixel dragon website is not worth that level of energy or brain space. i know this is a wanker thread on a salt forum but it just comes off as juvenile. which to be fair, they may in fact be so jokes on me i guess.
