hi, i am act. i got banned today as a part of the ban wave with thorntail alt spamming. it is an IP WIDE BAN. if you've ever wanted to know what an ip ban is like, it looks like they just ban me from their firewall as the site will not load. i was banned pretty much as soon as i went on my desktop computer for the day. i was on my phone earlier in the day on the site just fine
other people, businesses, places, entire neighborhoods share this ip address within an hour radius of me. i dont know if my ip is used for a vpn or anything else but it's very possible that it could be as it is in a very populated area. i really dont want to dox myself more than ia lready have so i emailed mindless pretty much an hour after i got banned today with all of the proof i have to help myself in this case. i knew there was botting and alt spamming happening with the release, i did not know that there were SO MANY... so many crazy usernames and weird shit happening (incl uding this "g1 pinglist" one) until just a few minutes before typing this, but i know... i just know... someone would have started shit over my ban. it looks like i was completely right
yes, lili has hurt me in the past, there are multiple people who know where i live. she is like two years older than me. i dont think she is transphobic and i definitely dont think she has ever groomed anybody. it has been like five years since this drama. please let us both move on. im not reigniting this and it seems someone else is claiming direct ownership of this so i dont really know what to do beyond use this as more evidence in my appeal
i used to be friends with a certain kraws (intentionally misspelled) when i was still "nearku" and this could be him based on the fact that he said he got 3 people banned + was the reason behind lili s ban too :,)
this will probably be my only public message here, mindless can see everything i sent them through email + my own ip address attached to this, i am happy to reply to my email to provide any more information asked for from t hem, please do not accuse me any further. ive done pretty much everything i can to explain to staff that i have no idea what is going on. there is nothing i can do about sharing an ip with hundreds of thousands of people in an uber populated area of the US. you can walk into a restaurant 40mins away from me house and they will still have the same ip address. i have honest to god have no idea what is going on with any of this *gestures to this account + the others* and have been preoccupied with irl stuff. my last activity in the past two weeks were sniping some of the ultra cheap thorntails (staff will be able to cross check this-- i do not have a single CR or private auction with a thorntail in it, every single thing in the second tab of my inbox lair was sniped for at or under 20 gems on the public auction house when thorntails were going for 40) that looked nice and were intended to be flipped later, then i was on to gene up a thorntail g1 pair to sell some nice g2s, and reply to someone about a custom skin comm
people in shared discords know that i was in the hospital recently too and have barely even been on the game. i have had to put several of my art commissions on hold
you can hate me for all sorts of reasons and alllll the stupid shit i did when i was a kid, but do not blame me for this. this is like the perfect setup to report spam someone with. i dont even know what to do about all this new info but it all makes sense now. the timing of all of this is just evil
why would other businesses or homes use the same IP address as you? that doesn't really make sense when they should all be operating on different routers...??
should say i'm aware of this being a thing in some countries like Qatar and Singapore but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for any heavily populated city in the US. it would be an absolutely disaster to have so many people on the same public IP.
Something isn't adding up. A heavily populated city in the US would absolutely not have everyone within a mile radius sharing an IP. Additionally, staff don't ban on IP alone. You would have to be actively funneling between accounts. Sorry, act, I don't buy it. I'm sorry to hear you've been targeted and harassed by this whackjob, but you had to be doing something to deserve that ban wave. It's okay to admit you funneled some G1 thorntails to yourself.

act has never taken accountability for this behavior and continues to say it was just stupid shit that they did as a 'kid' (they were 17/18 and absolutely knew better). so imo it's fair game when act brought it up first. anyone who wasn't around at the time doesn't know the context or how serious their behavior was at the time.

yeah no it's not normal or okay for a 16-18 year old to threaten and harass people like act did. i don't care who made the document unless there is evidence that they falsified screenshots or took things so wildly out of context that they look intentionally bad. regardless of who put it together, the behavior was extremely inappropriate and it doesn't help anyone to try and diminish that or blame it on age. you're just enabling.

Who cares who it was. They were known to blackmail multiple people with the pedo accusations and not just those people documented in the screenshots. I don't know if this ban was related to that or not, but their behavior was absolutely corrosive to the community and went far beyond something the usual 'stupid' toxic teen would do.
16 is old enough to know better than throwing around those kinds of serious accusations. A stopped clock is right twice a day. A shit person can be right, especially as there is evidence. There's more proof than there is of the accusations that started this thread.
you know, i didn't think about it until i read your post. but it is strange how Ladylilitu happens to be the one that made the google doc on act/nearku, and the account that is being discussed is claiming that Ladylilitu groomed children..... which is very similar to accusations of predatory behavior that act/nearku would do to other players they had issues with :|
