nayrt unfortch the archive didnt collect the dozen-something comments so all i've got is a trust me bro. but there was one comment made by anyaknees, where they essentially claimed that the supposed grooming/sexual harassment was standard close friend group chatter about adult topics. which. obviously without any proof from either side its hard to really say whats what, but (assuming this anon really is stabby) i do SERIOUSLY side eye them for bringing up a proofless accusation of grooming the second there's accusations levied towards them. in general i think this whole situation is nauseatingly messy (public forum beefing? running to salt blogs?? bringing up old personal beef???) but it is genuinely kind of sickening to accuse someone of that when the stakes are like... bbcode bio templates being suspiciously similar. what are we even doing here

Tumblr has an advantage in how it works, in that the SMR mods can review all posts before they're published, and can therefore ignore/delete anything that is baseless, direct harassment, etc.
Meanwhile, Dreamwidth doesn't have that option unless I screen every comment- and I know that's annoying for everyone involved, especially since it's just two mods here- Which is a reason ARR has so many rules.
SMR has four. The onus is absolutely on them to review posts before publishing, and I don't know how or why they let that slip through the cracks.
