drops in coli

is the best/fastest/least annoying way to track drops from the coli still to "just" put everything in the vault so all drops are the ones in your hoard? i have like 5 years of items and it seems annoying to have to do that, but i don't want to manually have to track things one by one as they drop in a spreadsheet or whatever either :'(

I think so but I will say I had to vault my entire hoard at one point and as horrible and tedious as that was, it is SO worth it for how much easier it made my life even apart from tracking Coli drops. Singling out the items I want to melt in Baldwin or Sophie, or that I want to sell on the AH or attach to CRs/PMs is so good that I still vault my hoard every week or so even though I dont have to anymore. Also dont forget that you can change the number of items you see per page for easier vaulting if you’re not already on the max view.

I will always support vault everything and pull out only what you need. I did it before we had vault search and that made it so much easier!

"legally" yeah this is probably still the easiest. if you don't mind using scripts (iirc this one doesn't break the rules and fall under the same terms as dark mode, but i mean there's always a risk) there was a coli loot tracking script shared in the last thread:

https://github.com/gremlincache/fr-coliseum-tracker

seems like they've added highlights that you can customize as well if you're on the lookout for specific items but don't ask me how to do that because coding is not my thing lolll

As someone who saw this pop up in the last thread, I find it a bit fun to go skulking in threads where drops are recorded and seeing A Shift In Formatting after this dropped (and again when it got mentioned here and in a guide thread for seeking coliseum data). Not in a "oo I'm gonna report you" way but just as a "I know what you are" type of way lol (especially since it's just vague hunches since the formatting isn't particularly unique so there isn't any dead giveaway but it's still a fun little game to play)

The x1 next to everything is so unreadable too LOL I think it'd be so much better if there was a Scavhunt-esque spreadsheet to fill that auto pulls the drop data

awww I like the xN, at least in the columns format (I have never and will never understand the 1-big-block styling, that overwhelms me so much :sobs:), but I bet you could fairly easily set up some parser spreadsheet that takes either the formatted data or the raw data you can export and fill in some spreadsheet for you? I'm just glad to get the data at all in a compiled list so I don't have to manually track it haha
