A person who gets upset that their robot GF isn’t acting the way they want them to would probably not handle an actual real life human relationship any better to be fair.
Not saying I’m in support of these AI chatbot partners (or that there aren’t problems with the rise of social media), I just don’t think human relationships in general are going to be ‘a thing of the past’ because of them. The type of people drawn to them are not the type of people that excel in real relationships in the first place.
A "thing of the past" is an exaggeration, but significantly harder to come by? I mean, that's already true. People always bemoan the modern dating scene and how utterly toxic dating apps are. And consciously or not, a constant exposure to the worst humanity has to offer through 24 hour news cycles and social media algorithms designed to promote content that makes people angry, is making people more fearful of each other. I dunno, I'm autistic so I already can't comprehend human interaction, but this is a deeply, deeply exhausting time to be on the spectrum. I don't know what to do with myself man.
