I'm not archiving this so as not to make targets of the players responding in case the thread is deleted. The basic context is that OP is asking how much treasure and gems players have on hand. Most players have small amounts but some are posting quite substantial amounts of t/g.

Given that there have been hacks and raids recently, isn't this just... extremely unwise information to post? Idk I feel iffy about OP even asking.

Hello, misclicked enter key. ANYWAY, I always wonder why there's so much emphasis placed on which breeds 'belong' to which flights, and the latest modern breed speculation thread in FRD got my curiosity running again.

Personally I don't feel like the base silhouettes of most breeds are particularly evocative of their 'home flights'. It wouldn't occur to me to parcel them out that way if the site hadn't already done so. I'm in Nature, and sure, I love Wildclaws...except most of them end up being Fire-themed.

I guess I don't see why it's a slight against a given flight if they don't have as many (or as cheap/attainable) breeds as another flight. It's not something that makes an aesthetic difference. (As opposed to 'there should be a fairer distribution of coli venues', which IMO does make a difference, since there's no customizing coli and if a particular theme is your jam it's nice to have it to look at while you level.)

I kind of get what you're saying, but some people live in countries where LGBTQ is still under threat of being pushed off a building. So. It's not riskless for everybody, and that can be really scary even for those who live in a safe place.

The Museum skin copying drama made me think about it a lot. There's been so many skins made over the years (and i know the angel stuff started around 2016-17ish??) that there's bound to have similar concepts with different art styles, especially with the wing / biblical / arrow / halo etc. I was looking through the database and my hoard and the same 'vibes' can come from different artists.

i wouldn't actually know it came from different artists and just assumed one of them was made later with slightly better art skills.

is it only acceptable to start drawing certain style only after a user has retired from the site / is no longer active? because the way i see it, since ado is very much still active (and museum didn't really help with copying one of their very notable skins), that "flat colour / no shading" style is sort of off limits.

i really do wanna hear you guys' thoughts on it

The skin market is pretty over saturated so there is definitely bound to be some toe stepping and an overlap of similarities in styles and themes. Using similar elements in a new skin is fine, flowers/skull/swords/halos are very popular themes afterall but just don't place them in the exact same place in the exact same way and style.

What Museum did was copy everything ado did and the way ado did it, they didn't just copy the style, and that was wrong of them to do and they should've known better as an artist and art student themselves. The flat colour style doesn't belong to ado either, the only thing that belongs to them is the way they use that style. Only other example I can think of for comparison would be frfrfr that uses that flat, no shade style sometimes but they use it in their own unique way. Ado took the common themes and created new versions of existing ones in their own way, Museum did not.

so fire is conquest pushing during shadow's annual mother's day conquest. fire would beat shadow and shadow is probably not in a place to battle after IvS anyway. I didn't see for sure but I think fire announced after shadow? so why are they doing this? an informal battle would be fun but this just kind of seems mean lol. shadow doesn't get first place often so why did fire have to pick that week?

While browsing Giveaway and Raffle threads I found some user giving away everything - along with some G1s. I noticed two, they looked nice, so I took a look at the colors - both Gloom-Orca-Crimson.
Thinking I misread the username, I went back to look who adopted them, and surely, some user adopted them but now both are in a different lair. There are barely 20min between them posting and now being in another lair.

I literally don't get it. FR says that they're absolutely not okay with any blood or gore and go to the point of pointing out literal three pixels around an arrow when refusing an accent, but this still gets through?

I feel like there have been other blood-maw skins that've been rejected too, or am I just losing my mind?

Nothing against the skin maker here, just confused about how this managed to get through after all the chaos that has happened with other skins.

butterfly matches tert really well
they bought it and in less than six hours it was exalted
it was named "fodder" by the og hatcher and they probably saw a random dragon named fodder in their lair and exalted it

In the left-hand menu bar of any Flight Rising page, look for the 'Festive Favors' link (at the bottom of the 'Shop' section).

It will take you to a page with two big icons, 'Elemental Festival Shop' and 'Joxar's Spare Inventory'. Click the second one. (Or just go here: https://www1.flightrising.com/festive-favors/joxar )

Below Joxar's avatar and speech bubble, there's an entry for 'Spare Inventory Crate'. Click the 'Buy' button beside it. It costs 80,000t, which might seem like a lot, but you can make almost that much in a single day on the fairgrounds (feel free to ask for more help on that or any other aspect if needed!).

You can only buy (1) per festival week, so a max of eleven total per year.

It will contain two things:

A) a Prismatic Token you can exchange for any of the Joxar-exclusive items on that same page
B) a random item which may be one of those Joxar exclusives or an item from a previous elemental festival

Just played the worst round of Mistral Mahjong ever. I cleared about a third of the turtle board before I got to the point where I needed to shuffle, but then I just. Kept getting really bad shuffles. I would shuffle the board and match one pair of tiles, then have to shuffle aGAIN. and again. and again

I am most curious about the difference in oof raffle previews tbh. But what bothers me (and is currently making me not want to participate in the boarding efforts) is this line from the battle terms
"Boarding will not have an exclusive raffle. Instead, boarding awards tickets to each flight's OOF Raffle."

They're making it sound like it's not the done thing to do both. Like, i don't mind that they're shaking things up (that much), but that "instead" sure reads like false advertising.

(And relatedly, if the OOF boarding doesn't contain a raffle, why is the thread in the raffle forums?)

I may be petty, but I'm not boarding for them now :D
