No I was there, they gave us sprockets, tho i dont remember how many they gave everyone.

Seconding this. I was also there; sprockets were the giveaway, and for that reason, I suppose more people could afford to hoard lightning sprites. It wasn't exactly fun or easy back then to grind for fest currency on the first year, especially since no one was able to have hoarded it beforehand.
