New Rule Test Run

Because it's been brought up a few times, and I've gotten some messages of frustration, vasemod and I have decided to implement a new rule:


Flight Rising forum links, especially to individual posts, need to be archived/backed up, screencapped, whatever is possible/accessible to you at time of posting. FR staff is trigger happy with deleting entire forum posts instead of locking them, so it's best to archive/screencap them for salt .... I mean posterity.

3/3 out of the white exchange students I've met here have been insanely obsessed with local English standards, commenting things like "Okok fix the english plz" on perfectly understandable reports.

Also ironic when they're the ones that submit typo-riddled work. The white girl interning here got chewed out for uploading to the company IG without permission, especial;y when her sentenced loook like dis. Someone needs to learn to proofread her own work before editing and criticising our email templates.

Colonizers real mad that they don't own this country anymore I guess.

she also complained about the logo placement (this after she got rebuked for ditching meetings, and again for not acknowledging the message) being inconsistent, but hers is diff from our existing posts. you join a new company, complain about their branding+visuals+posts+colors+logo that have already been established - they're the ones who are inconsistent? Make it make sense

At least I'm leaving in Jan so I'll help her however I can but her response to any feedback is "I've done my research and..." zzz

This person definetly never has taken any kind of designer class or just ignored any and all they got taught dfgd.
First thing we got taught when I did graphic design a few years back was contrast to avoid stuff like this, it is literally the bare bones basic rule.

I took part in an international secret santa event and I got... a painting! When I was filling in my wishlist, I wrote that I always wanted a painting in certain colors but I literally had 0 expectations that this would be what my santa will choose to fill, like, who'll do that, just paint something and mail it half-way across the continent?? Literally the best gift I've ever received and from such a random event by a completely random person

I personally play Sylestia, which has multiple pets (including a wyvern like one) and a more RPG type set up, which is in the middle of a winter fest.

I also play Gryffs, which is about gryphons, but doesn't really have a lot to do (but the art is fantastic).

FelisFire is about cats, but honestly not fond of that one.

Luckily I'm working from home, but I'm almost 30 and that fucking happened because bodies are stupid and I hate everything

Does anyone play this site? I’m having a blast. It’s a cat breeding simulation game that’s much more hardcore than FR. It used real life based genetics. Cats do die in this game which sucks if you have to take time off. But I want to spread the word because I feel like this tiny game deserves to be more active.

I befriended a woman my age recently, but she’s possibly hitting on me and it’s kind of weird.

She says she “thinks of me all day ;)”, and when I gave a lukewarm response to that she said “I always ruin everything”. Jesus! We’ve known each other for <24 hours. I’m praying it’s a joke but I don’t know her well enough to tell.

Does anyone have good recommendations on free image resizers? In particular to shrink an image without it getting too blurry or destroying details. I could have sworn there was one that some people use when resizing their accents but I can't remember the sites...
