Hello, misclicked enter key. ANYWAY, I always wonder why there's so much emphasis placed on which breeds 'belong' to which flights, and the latest modern breed speculation thread in FRD got my curiosity running again.

Personally I don't feel like the base silhouettes of most breeds are particularly evocative of their 'home flights'. It wouldn't occur to me to parcel them out that way if the site hadn't already done so. I'm in Nature, and sure, I love Wildclaws...except most of them end up being Fire-themed.

I guess I don't see why it's a slight against a given flight if they don't have as many (or as cheap/attainable) breeds as another flight. It's not something that makes an aesthetic difference. (As opposed to 'there should be a fairer distribution of coli venues', which IMO does make a difference, since there's no customizing coli and if a particular theme is your jam it's nice to have it to look at while you level.)

Especially when people insinuate that nocs shouldn't count because they're only "available" once a year? Hello? It's not 2015 anymore the AH is flooded with noc scrolls please buy them if you want more nocs.

Yeah you can get a noc scroll for like 20 gems last I looked, it isn't an issue at all. I have so many in my hoard now because they aren't worth selling.

i feel you anon. i think mostly because while i enjoy the aesthetics of certain flights, i never feel any extreme attachment like some people seem to do.

i can barely remember which dragons "belong" to each flight let alone be invested enough to think that staff is intentionally slighting my flight
