Love the new apparel (rimeplate) but at the same time it feels a bit like cheating as it's very obviously made to match the recolor, so it feels bit like an add-on rather than the centerpiece...

What bothers me is that the shades of blue are different. The designs scream "matching set" but one of them is ice blue and the other is blue-green. If they're going for matching, they should go all-in, imo.

I do think they look nice individually, though. Wider use possibilities than a lot of fest apparel.

The silvers are ALSO not matching colours; the recolour's silvers are more blue toned while the fest apparel's is neutral toned. I don't think they're intended to match as much as everyone thinks they are.

I wish they would intentionally do this more often, but not in this way.

There are so many festival apparels that I would love to use if only X piece was a separate item.

Combining the two pieces to release as the fest apparel would have been minimally substantial (separate, they look last-minute and lazy), but the recycling would still be apparent. So there's not really a way out of not looking lazy. But it is just a game and so on, haha.

there's snowflake patterns in the cloth and the things hanging down kind of look like icicles. Also it's vaguely ice Flight colored, maybe?

tintinnabulation and countertenor are both stunning but they don't really read as ice skins to me either, definitely don't mind being able to get them for cheap though
