I think it would be nice if people separated their desire to have a mostly-complete bestiary and being disappointed that they may not be able to get this particular familiar from the fact that this familiar is being used as a charity fundraiser reward. They're saying, hey if you donate to this charity then you get a little themed in-game sticker as a thank-you! They're using their platform to solicit donations to a good cause.
It's okay to be a little upset that you'll have another blank space in your sticker collection! I'm a sticker collector myself. But let's not act like we're all entitled to every sticker, yeah? Sometimes an in-game sticker can be exclusive as a real-life charity donation bonus and that's okay I think.
Idk, just the hostility I'm seeing from some people about this new familiar is off-putting. Disappointment and frustration, sure yeah of course, an item requiring real money is gonna be impossible for much of the playerbase (many of whom are children anyway!) But some people are practically doom spiraling over it and thinking up every possible way this could be a sign of FR's inevitable decline into microtransaction mobile app hell and like...take a deep breath, guys. It's a fundraiser. We'll be okay.
I know this happens with every new release/announcement, but it baffles and disappoints me every time. Plus, acting like this over a CHARITY FUNDRAISER that hasn't even happened yet is a little much.

i'd finish my dragons much faster if i didn't have to wait for genes to cycle into the marketplace :'(
i was the target on a lot of salt blogs when i was a minor multiple years ago, and want to pick the game up again because there's so much new content. is it even worth it or is the site and community still "you did this thing years and years ago!!! you must get the death penalty!! why has staff not banned you yet??"
obviously, i have grown up, and do not want to be anything like how i was in the past, and i have mellowed out quite a lot and matured. it just feels LONELY! i know no one else who plays this game anymore. it's been years since i even looked at ARR or SMT either until now
should i just start over from 0? i had a couple of nice doubles and near triples. i would feel bad about abandoning my account considering i have emotional attachment to those dragons, but at this point i'd rather try to integrate into any community to find friends...

it is so painful to have self reported for multi accounting (i had an older account that i abandoned and when i came back i made a new account but the paranoia and guilt ate away at me so i decided to just report myself lol) and not know when theyll actually respond to you. i wanna play with my pretty dress up dragons but theres no point! but i dont know when ill be free! so i cant play fr and im sad. its my own fault lol.
How are we feeling about the fact that fests and other traditionally Sunday-start events will start on Mondays now?
