Stumbled upon this person's account through a front page dragon. The account's locked, and their bio says, "Two sides to every story. I appreciate those that opted to listen to the other side." So I assume some kind of drama went down? I'm nosy and curious on what happened. Dug through past ARR wanker threads though and couldn't find anything.
Their last activity seems to have been in September 2022, if that helps at all.

no idea why they were banned, but i remember they were a mod in the light flight discord. at one point the mods started a mystery countdown in the server and, at the end of the countdown, they completely wiped at least several channels without warning, then left the server and the flight.

"Thank you for granting me your attention.I have repeatedly appealed my account closure in Flight Rising. Staff alleged 'multi accounting' because years ago my daughter had multis and interacted with my account via multiple accounts without my knowledge. She sent in an email and cc'd it to me detailing her multi use so I used that to cross reference my forum interactions, finding them via google search not by making a new account, with those stated accounts and found a total of 44 forum posts proving I believed I was interacting with individual users. This included pings to her multis when I got home from the hospital after a surgery. She was around 13 at the time and lived with me so that would have been unnecessary and redundant, not to mention further redundancy at pinging her in multiple places. My daughter admitted to funneling while interacting with The Dragonwish Foundation, a wish granting service I created. When she sent me currency there would have had to be a message attached since blank messages can't be sent. Whatever she stated in the attached message as to why I was being sent currency would have been believed as I thought each account was an individual user. During that time the entire Dragonwish group sent dragons back and forth for breeding and we often helped one another with currency for dragon purchases and lair expansions. These were not transactions solely to my account from hers. According to the forum posts I found the last time she interacted with me from a multi was in 2016. There was never a point where I was aware that I was recieving funneled items. The last time I interacted with her one account that I did know about was January 2022 when I asked for an offspring from one of her pairs. Given that free dragons are sent out all over the site all the time, I don't believe this to be a violation of ToS. Furthermore, my ex-roomates account was also closed after I sent food and a dragon & genes and in return I recieved a dragon baby from one of his pairs. I did this to help him get back into FR. We met the burden of proof there too as we both sent in tickets that included our seperate paypal info in attachments which proved we are two different people not one person with multiple accounts. My ex-roomate was also part of Dragonwish from 2014 to 2016 so transactions between us were also not funneled items as we both sent dragons and items to eachother and to many other players. Within the first 2 years of Dragonwish my group granted around 100 wishes which ammounted to 100 free dragons handed out to FR players. If somebody above the appeals team could look at the tickets sent by me, (FR: Ravenkara) m and my daughter (FR: Firebug) and recognize that my account has been wrongfully closed out that would be great. The last ticket I sent with screenshots from the Dragonwish forum thread on the Flight Rising site and screenshots of the email my daughter sent staff and cc'd to me is ticket #75728. This is not a cut and dry case of one person multi accounting. This was one person with multis making the poor choice to interact with and send funneled items to other players including me and my roomate. By that standard, every player my daughter ever send dragons/items/currency to should have their account closed for unknowingly recieving funneled Items. Doesn't sound right? Well that's what happened to us. Since I can establish my innocence via screen shots and statement from the actual culprit, it's very clear that this case has been egregiously mishandled and needs to be rectified. "

I'm not sure what they hope for with this screed. Though cracking open a new pack of paragraph breaks might have helped them. And since FR runs the subreddit anyway I'm not sure this is even going to stay up that long.

FR Update Schedule

Does anyone ever wonder why FR updates are spaced out so bizarrely? Like how we got a mini update with more birds on March 31st, then immediately the April Fools update next day, and now it's 2 weeks of nothing. Like wouldn't it have been nicer to release the birds now? And I feel like it happens a lot. Weird.

i usually see an update about once every 7-10 days, but i do agree w/ you that the recent update cadence has been different. i want to assume that their resources have been occupied by FR anniversary work. i know that's coming up in a few weeks.

Not the first time they update weirdly - there's been half a dozen times I refresh the frontpage to see the festival update just to see a surprise, that there was another update a day ago. Or any time they post another random (not time-sensitive, I mean) update in the middle of a festival. Like, why??

yep. only out-done by Contaminate liking the charity familiar for the wrong reasons (they're glad it's retiring because they're a huge proponent of retired items and they hope this means more of them) and sticking their ass into every suggestion thread about it.

so gd tired of mothscale being a whiny little baby about the cirrus breed.

bitch it is your fault you 1) failed to anticipate wind's ancient would be a gem breed (basically a given since both of their breeds were treasure breeds) and 2) have latched onto this fantasy world where the fr devs totally promised to give a certain amount of heads up about gem breed releases and would also totes involve the community in the development process.

and now they're crying in FRD about how wind is being mistreated and cheated out of a proper ancient release over a damn gif.

i thought wind was supposed to be the chill flight.

I think it's funny that how for every ancient release there's a user who thinks that their flight is the one that's gotten the short end of the stick.
