I peeked into their comment history, /u/bardofnope is tumblr user "spoopy", who is indeed AstralCresent/CellophaneStars. Also, they complain about getting banned from every service they use, I think there's a common denominator here.
Yeah, he and I don't really crossover with any subreddits, but... I'm going to preemptively block him. I'm not interested in the possibility of interacting with him at all.
