DA I'm not asian but I just wanted to express my appreciation for this response. It's not my place to speak on this issue so I've just been casually reading responses and since most people have been so inflammatory I honestly didn't know whether to feel bad for staff or to just trust in those who were attacking them. Whenever the topic of racism is brought up on FR, it just feels like staff can never win. They either aren't being conscious enough or they are trying too hard and pandering to people. What do people even want atp? From what I read it had seemed like they genuinely wanted to right their wrongs and do better for other cultures on FR. Anyways, thank you for the well-written response, I'm glad to know that how staff handled this has made some people who are part of your culture feel seen <3
