it is so painful to have self reported for multi accounting (i had an older account that i abandoned and when i came back i made a new account but the paranoia and guilt ate away at me so i decided to just report myself lol) and not know when theyll actually respond to you. i wanna play with my pretty dress up dragons but theres no point! but i dont know when ill be free! so i cant play fr and im sad. its my own fault lol.
If you abandoned the account and never did anything with it nor interacted with your current one, why self-report? So long as you did literally nothing with it, they won't do anything to you UNLESS you self-report.
WHHHYYYYY if I post on the forums do you think people would report me and itd go faster ;; or maybe I could blatantly funnel between the two accounts aaaaa
You should definitely post on forums and pretend that you don't know you've been multiaccounting but make it clear in your post that you are. Enough people replying and reporting it will draw staff attention.
DA Genuine question - Is there a significance to pretending not to know? I mean, won't the self-report already make it clear (at least to staff)? Is it just to get players to respond more?
i think it's mostly a suggestion bc it would result in a lot of players reporting them/the topic, which might result in a quicker action from staff. act like you don't know probably so the rule breaking isn't ambiguous like: hey frd what's your fav alt acct theme, i have 3 etc
oh wow, it can take months? as someone who self reported due to similar reasons (guilt) they locked my old account/s in two weeks or so. maybe it was the contents of my email? either way, best of luck, OP
