An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

It seems like it's a newish shell account that just started collecting expensive stuff and being active, shell hoarder on LW as well with no activity. Don't see how in the world they could have afforded one of those unless it was RMT and they are trying to offload it fast. Or could this be a dupe? IDK my spidey senses tell me something is wrong with that listing and not to touch it.

2. if you somehow find yourself in hell for turning a canonically adult character in a tense-but-harmless video game into a cool dragon with immaculate, voluminous hirsutism, then no one on this site with fandragons will ever know the pleasure of heaven.

are you squeamish of scary-type dragons? his broadcast message reads "The creepier the better" & he seems to have a lot of shadow/plague theme dragons. in the "about me" section of his clan bio he says "I am friendly, even if I look like a grump, the last time I wanted to give a child candy he cried at the sight of me... haha.." LOL.
sometimes i block people for having annoying forum signatures, but his seems pretty normal - name/pronouns/time zone, two cute dragon arts, and links to forum shops. he has an art shop thread, and it seems like there have been some unintended gaps in service due to poor health. any of this stuff ringing a bell for ya?

Hey, I'm a dumbass when it comes to selling and pricing G1s. I hatched a unique color combo that can probably work as a faux XYX, since prim and tert are on the same range. It's not particularly pretty though...

Does this kinda dragon sell well? Any advice on pricing? Or should I just train and exalt when it grows up?

Check the AEG1s thread and check their XYZ spreadsheet to see if any dragons similar to it have sold well. Whether or not that type of dragon sells for a lot is very dependent on the colours and if you know the right people (i.e. if you know a specific few people exist that go crazy for those colours).

this is about their design, not their lore. i see people are saying they're racist for being visually based on quetzalcoatl and having a "Lakota warbonnet" (doesn't og quetzalcoatl have a feather crest anyway?) ok so...by this metric imperials are mixing the image of ~eurocentric winged dragons with chinese wingless dragons lmao. or what about coatls that already exist. i don't understand these visual critiques it's like they took one sociology class and now it's everyone else's problem

Most of the ancient breeds don't really register for my brain as 'this is something strange/primitive/other compared with the rest of FR's dragon breeds'. They're nice enough, but if any of them had been released as full-fledged moderns, I wouldn't have blinked. (Yes, extra heads, fewer limbs, whatever, I'm talking about style, not shape.)

Except Undertides. They're really the only ones whose art feels like it fits the general ancient concept, to me. The adult poses at least.

Not to steal the Auraboa thunder, they're also in the nice-enough group, I just happened to finish a long breeding project last week and now I can start breeding towards my dream Undertide scry and I'm excited.

they literally don't have legs, something a modern breed can't do. way back when ancients were announced they made it pretty clear that was what ancients were going to be about, making dragons that don't quite fit into the modern breed standard because they don't wear apparel. I genuinely don't know where the idea the dragon breed in the dragon game should have new breeds that are "primitive" (yes they were created before moderns but that's no reason to think they would be more primitive since the same deities designed them lore wise) or "other" (people would not like it if they didn't look enough like dragons in their eyes and there's only so much othering you can do to a dragon while keeping it mainstream, and fr is a company that needs to make money and new dragons breeds must make them money why else would they want to increase production of them. having a niche breed only a select few like would be counter to that)

I'm not as active on FR as I used to be these days and tend to just chill out doing my own thing. But every now and then I take a look through the AH to see if there's any dragons that interest me and goddamn. Why are like 90% of the dragons being sold on the AH (above LAH mind you, so not for fodder) sooo ugly. Do people really buy, sell and own dragons like this. Am I THAT in my own bubble about my tastes in dragons?? These are awful. I really don't think anyone's buying your Lemon/Navy/Maize Tiger/Current Underbelly dragon for 20kt man. Or that Nightshade/Buttercup/Hunter Base/Seraph/Lace dragon for 50kt. Both real examples. I'm losing my mind.

You'll need an extension like Stylus or something like it to use it. If you are already using Dark Mode or Highlights v3, you already had it installed.

Add this to the end of a style, right before the last '}':

.common-nav-item-alert {display: none}

And the icon will be gone forever.

Really pissed at whatever dumbfuck SMR mod decided it'd be okay to just. Post LightDom's entire dom statistics.
Our exalt data was leaked to Arcane and the idiots over at SMR were a vessel to let that happen. "We didn't know it was supposed to be confidential" it's a DOM BATTLE fuck off!
Now Arcane has all of Light's numbers (until midnight last night) and Light has nothing from Arcane. Fuck whoever leaked it, and also fuck SMR mods.
