An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

They're not a mod. They're someone who made a DW account to bypass automatic screening. (and I'm keeping an eye on them, btw. They start shit, I can ban them.)

I'll be honest, I almost did that, except I like keeping people guessing. I mean, you mod types know, but no one else knows the dark secret of how much shittalk is mine.

lol tbh, vasemod and I don't really pay attention unless an anon is causing trouble, or is someone like Dakk.

(Though I DO admit, there are some that I remember simply because their comments make me laugh my ass off.)

I don't deliberately cause trouble. I just have a temper and let myself run off at the mouth anon here where I'd never say it signed in.

I remember fondly when it was revealed how obnoxiously prolific Rowan was, and how many of the people I argued with was just him. So funny, but I'm glad you save it for that. It makes it have more impact when you reveal sameanons.

it's kinda weird that they're deanoning on an anon meme to begin with, tbh. like yeah waiting for mods to unscreen comments sorta sucks but it is what it is (not complaining @ mods for doing it, I understand why you have to, just sucks that you've been put into this position)

Yeah it's a bit weird, but /shrug.

And yeah it sucks, especially since Cross has been banned and I'm concerned about retaliation on the various people he's been harassing.

NGL, I don't want this becoming a trend, either (I'm assuming you're talking about folks making accounts). I don't want ARR to turn into SMR with a "center clique" creating an echo chamber.

Thankfully, I can ban accounts from the community, and I will do it if too many people start doing it.

(Just saying, there's no extra effort to post when comments are screened; this is "I want my comments to be seen immediately.")
