An important update:

Due to a specific person being a complete child, comments are going to be screened by default.

This is only temporary, and I apologize for the inconvenience- this is going to be a pain in the ass for me, too, but multiple people have come forward about fears of doxxing, and this is the only way to make sure any doxxing is contained.

(This basically will force the doxxer to make a DW account to post any doxxing attempts unscreened, and will let me more reliably report them to DW staff/authorities.)

Again, I apologize, and will be working to unscreen comments as fast as possible, but I'm only one person.

(Vasemod has had some personal issues come up, so I am the only mod atm. Please bear with me until this bit of annoyance has passed.)

However, the 'bulge' is still present in Iridescent (look just to the side/below the front knee of the fae)

But, during the Colorwheel expansion, since genes were no longer done by hand, the bulge was removed, except on Iridescent, which is still done by hand. I think Undel has said that she plans to remove that once they figure what to do with iridescent/shimmer, but I can't quite remember.

oh my god, how did i forget about fae bulge??? i guess i didn't even know they had changed it. always looked to me the same as the "bulge" on dinosaur figurines. just a piece of the body. why we gotta get weird about it LMAO

There was no drama tbh? They just removed the bulge faes had one day and everything was cool, iirc. i also can't even tell you anymore when that was, i'm betting it was at least 6-7 years ago. so if there was drama it must have completely slipped my mind now.

I remember some people commenting on it, but I can't find those posts now, and I thought I remember something where Undel addressed it, but it doesn't come up now. But yeah, there wasn't really any drama, because it ultimately didn't affect much except maybe a couple of skins that used the bulging lineart as a guide (and even then, it is barely noticeable)
