Okay sorry, I didn't read any of that bee movie stuff X'D but...I was thinking...

Would it be weird/rude of me to offer to make/sell special skins for Shadow's benefit? I don't wanna step on anyone's pride or toes since I'm not in Shadow but, damn...I feel bad for them :((

My idea is to sell the skins to non-shadow members for 850g and then give them free to Shadow ppl? Is that weird?

It makes sense to want to donate to a dom bank but it would be kind of weird as long as Shadow doesn't make a public statement on it, doubly so if you're not in Shadow yourself. It would be a different case if you're a flight member and the dom team is asking for fundraising efforts. But if that were the case, the thing that would make the most sense is to sell it at whatever price to the public, a slightly discounted price for Shadow members, and afterwards donate profits to the bank.

oof. sometimes i wish FR staff would let you temp unlock to return items/dragons being held for others. obviously that is a completely unworkable idea in practice, for myriad reasons. but still. oof ouch augh, poor shadow flight.

i hope their dom leads consider reaching out to the other flights for assistance—because if there's anything people involved in dom all love, it's a good community-based project.

The general consensus seems to be that battling every year is exhausting, sure, unless you're Ice flight I guess lol. But we won't have seen battles from these flights in 2+ years by the end of 2024.

Part of the problem with earth is that a lot of flights don’t want to battle them. Battles are fun when you might have a fighting chance, not so much with a curbstomp. People were confused enough when Arcane challenged Light. The only flight that might stand a chance, numbers-wise, would be fire, and realistically it would have to be with massive support from at least one other flight and a crack dom team stepping in.

Water might have a shot but I think they gave it a try and it was rough.

Shadow. I have 0 interest in battling as, frankly, it's not worth the energy investment: train, train for a few months to fill hibden and other storage. exalt, exalt for a week. carpal tunnel yeah. result: maybe a 15% discount at best. i cannot wait to finish all 19 of my current projects with that /s

Wind Double Dom

I'm a Windie and when our orgs announced the double dom, I was hoping someone would surprise challenge us for the second week. I wonder if Plague will since they're profit pushing both weeks? But that'd be pretty hypocritical if they don't give our orgs a heads up, so probably not...

Fellow Windie here. Feels like there probably won’t be a challenge since we have a bloody Light Sprite in our OOFR. Unless there’s another flight willing to offer up a Light Sprite of their own or equivalent for a surprise battle then people will probably favour sending to us anyway.

Im not in wind, but I hope someone challenges you guys just for the fun (/not anything against you, I just loved plague v water and I hope stuff like that can happen more often.) Nobody challenged lights double dom a few weeks ago I dont think, which is a shame, but also light is a powerhouse and I get why nobody wanted to fuck with them lol

Plague is profit pushing for the next two weeks. Our in flight events were designed with that in mind. Having to transfer the whole setup to a last minute conquest would be more trouble than it's worth.

If you get a proper challenger in week 2, it'll be another flight.

Considering that every other flight told Plague that unannounced challenges should be the norm and that we overreacted when it happened, I think it's fair if we challenge without giving any heads up; we'd simply be playing the game as it's expected from the rest of the playerbase.

That being said, the Light Sprite is a certain way to lock in both weeks as a win; even if another flight wanted to challenge, no amount of fanfare would win OOF support away from potentially winning the sprite. Plague's bank is hurting too hard from fighting Water to get even close to offering a prize equal to it, and I don't imagine other flights are willing either.

It's not a double dom attempt, it's just a reserve for festival week activities. (The second week is listed in reserve posts on Dom Watch, but not under pushes)
