like, honestly! plague demonstrated itself to be in a pretty heavy weightclass with all those double doms; it's not weird that people would be less "precious" with etiquette around contesting you than they would with a flight perceived as more of an underdog.
1st plague anon in this wind double dom thread here. Hate to be the one to break it to you, but Plague has never had the best reputation. At best, we have tenuous respect with the rest of the playerbase; at worst, no one wants to deal with us because we have vocal players that act out and don't care about anyone but themselves. See the recent rash of Plague "wankers" for a few examples.
I appreciate your support for Plague. But if our newer players want to act like they live in a vacuum, or show disdain for understanding Plague's position in the greater FR community, no amount of support will matter.
Wind, on the other hand, understands the power of the long game. They had a reputation as a slacker flight, but kept making upsets in high stakes battles for years. Now they're doing double dom with a Light Sprite for OOF and the rest of the sprites for IF. The thought that anyone's going to challenge Wind - after they've grinded for years to improve their dom - is absurd.
I welcome our corgi overlords for the next two weeks. They've earned it.
