i was briefly in nature dom and i'm a bit disappointed, but not surprised, by this reaction from them. they're extraordinarily set in their ways and very fussed about having a ton of time to plan for pushes, and it's unfortunately true that nature's share of heavy exalters ultimately isn't that large compared to the overall flight population.
"how would you like if someone did this to you" imagine NatDom having the ambition to schedule a double dom in the first place
Something further about Natdom from this conversation: They proposed setting up a schedule where each flight gets dominance max 3 times per year, which is an absurd suggestion.
Apart from all the absurdities inherent in this, did they forget that even if you exclude fest weeks from that 3 weeks a year equation you only get 44 weeks? In a 52 week year?
yeah, good lord. 52 divided by 11 is 4.7; do they just think the .7 doesn't... exist?
not only that, but oh my god, dom isn't a child in a divorce. working out a schedule for custody over dom to make sure everyone gets the exact same amount of vacation time is so goofy. it's the only part of this game that's actually a *competition*, let it be one!
FWIW Nature dom was throwing out a whole bunch of ideas and brainstorming, it wasn't like they were super gung ho on this one particular idea. They did get very into the idea of using emojis to indicate flight scufflability towards the end though lol.
