Does anyone know what the term "PE Derangement Syndrome" they've used a few times means? I googled it but just got results about Post Pulmonary Embolism Syndrome which doesn't seem to fit the context
it's a made-up medical term they coined aimed at their "stalkers and haters" (and staff) called "Prince Eridan Derangement Syndrome". i don't know how someone can claim to be an ally while being so hateful.
this post is uhhh. concerning. they're saying, among many things, that their haters/gossipers held their personal belongings hostage for two years... so are they just wholly delusion/paranoid about supposed haters/stalkers causing all their woes? cause that's how this post reads.
I've never seen someone fling nasty, detailed insults at everyone around them and then yell about being bullied and mistreated as much as this person does. Bit of a wild blog to look at. I do hope they get some sort of help for... whatever is going on, it's hard to tell because a lot of it looks to be calling people fascists, scum, and dick eaters over a pet website.

I had thoughts then, but this place intimidated the hell out of me. well, seeing all this pop up again made me just go: why not lol. this person makes me so genuinely uncomfortable. like their tone and behavior makes my skin literally CRAWL. they're so revolting and downright scummy that I'm surprised they weren't suspended/banned EARLIER.

7 years later, they're on tumblr screeching about "fascist rising"... because they got a 24-hour suspension for breaking forum rules. i saw their rant in the Effects announcement thread before it got nuked, and it absolutely wasn't just "criticism of FR's ableism" or "bringing up their actual medical reactions", like they're trying to spin it - that's like spray-painting dog shit and calling it art.
i wish they'd read their own words and take them to heart. especially these ones:

I'm sure their struggles are for the most part genuine and I feel awful for them, but between 'fascist FR staff stalking them since 2016' and 'people actively murdering them by not giving them money' it's impossible to tell where reality ends and a nuclear-scale delusional victim complex begins.
My biggest question, is with the list of what AC has, how are they still alive?
I mean, since I have first heard of them, it seems like they have been actively dying.
Just to state, I am not trying to be mean, I wish that they didn't have to go through what ever they are going through, I wish that no one had to go through bad times.
But, just about every post from them is about how they can't pay for medicine, they can't pay for medical treatment, they are homeless, they are living with abusers, they are actively dying if they don't get donations, and has been since I first noticed them. (which has to be a couple of years now)
both with those facts and ac's attitude i'm genuinely starting to feel like they're a compulsive liar, of some sort, or just a grifter. i don't have a link on hand but in one of the previous posts someone dug up their amazon wishlist, or something of that sort, where you could buy them stuff. the only useful things on there was overpriced bougie CBD oil (there probably was a cheaper alternative to it, i'm not knowledgeable on that) and something labeled as "groceries". other stuff was just expensive commodities like crystals, mirrors, fursuits, ffxiv cosmetics, etc.
not to imply poor people can't treat themselves obviously but with ac's eternal state of "i'm homeless pregnant and balding freezing to death in the snow" and them saying they can't afford groceries/meds/whatever it seems pointless to have something like that up.
prefacing this with an "i dont know AC so i cant know for certain" but ive known people who behave similarly, albeit to significantly LESSER degrees, and a lot of the complaints/criticisms/concerns are based in a crumb of truth but then extrapolated into something so big its basically a lie. like "i didnt get as many tips as i was expecting at work" -> "my boss is scamming me so im taking him to court", or "someone left a slightly critical comment on my art" -> "there is a targeted campaign to silence me."
i definitely dont doubt that AC is experiencing struggles, in some way. i certainly see what looks like patterns of mental illness/struggle, and they've said as much themselves. but given how they (over?)react to a lot of things it really makes me doubt.png about the more serious things they claim. theyve been threatening imminent medical-related death for... many years now, if im not mistaken. the stress of keeping up that mindset is probably doing more damage than anything else.
at the absolute bare minimum i don't think its an unfair statement to say that they need to seriously reconsider their finances if they solely rely on guilt-tripping donations to supposedly stay alive in increasingly perilous conditions, while also pissing away money on videogames and luxury goods.
Well, in all my time of browsing the 'net/forums, I have known someone similar to AC/PE. Granted, it hasn't been so long (at most 10 years) and I touch social media every blue moon, so my experience is quite small in interactions with... eccentric users.
It's scary how similar they are, but more scary is that due to certain mannerisms and interests AC is a completely different person than the one I knew before. I wonder if they also have an account with an alterego that spends all day hurling obscenities and death threats? It would not surprise me tbh.

It's been fashionable to refer to lots of people's dislike of a particular person "_____ Derangement Syndrome" for a while now. I first heard it in reference to George W. Bush when he was president, implying people with Bush Derangement Syndrome just hated him for no good reason. Now Trump seems to be extremely fond of accusing his haters of having "Trump Derangement Syndrome" lately. So, not only is it a red flag for someone to use since it means "this person is super unpopular, for some reason! You better not start thinking the reason is good!!!" I also find it extremely ironic that AC is using it, given the kind of people the term is usually associated with.

i really hope people whove been waiting on old comm slots can get finished art or refunds. i also have serious doubts on if AC actually intends on finishing their foddart comms, too.
