oh Firebreather fucks and I genuinely hate Carnivore in a very "this only looks good in specific colors and it otherwise borderline squicks me" way. Wish we could've just gotten Firebreather for the ancients too :S

I agree, that carnivore gene sucks ass they should keep it the same color as the color it is for instead of pairing it with....unmatchy AF colors. I got excited thinking this would look great on triple imps I'm breeding right now but alas, kinda ruins them.

My pet peeve with Carnivore is the cartoony jagged mouth. Y'all couldn't have given these dragons lips or gums??

I like the concept of firebreather but it sure does look like lorwolf's stripes in execution. It does not feel polished to me and looks very awkward on a lot of colors.

after looking at it in different combos, I can definitely see that now. It makes me think of a half-body Crackle in which some colors just don't look super flattering with it and some combos I thought it'd look good in just fall a bit flat.

Another thing that irks me about firebreather is that it looks the same when you go through a whole color range, with very little variation. Look at the orange and yellow ranges and you will see what I mean.

I absolutely LOVE Carnivore because it's saved a few "You're gonna have Basic tert forever" projects, but I agree, I kinda wish it was teeth only and not have the drool/smoke, and I REALLY wish Carnivore had a Modern version, too.

(I actually got excited when I saw the icon for the gene, because I thought it was going to add MULTIPLE mouths, then was disappointed it was just teeth, but I'll take what crumbs my maw-loving self can get.)

my petty complaint: having there be a "restore an exalted progen" achievement with a reward, when getting that means you need to have... exalted a progen in the first place. no way I'm doing that, both bc of the time it would take to remove and re-add the outfit/familiar/bio/etc. and bc tbh it would just stress me out too much to do even knowing they'd come back ;_;

God. Same. Way easier for someone who is new and hasn't spent as much time working on their progens. I've never exalted mine either and I kind of resent that it's required for an achievement.

my issue is i HAVE already restored a progen. i did it several years ago. so i am a little bitter i don't get the achievement because of that. :/ i'm definitely not doing it again, my progens are integral to my clan lore. and i love them.

that achievement is fucking stupid and shows the devs dont even remotely play their own game, why would i exalt my progen for an achievement? just idiotic to add an achievement for an emergency site function

what is next, write a support ticket to get an achievement?

Honestly, I know a lot of people who still don't know you can restore dragons (...somehow), so it might be there as a way to teach you how to do it? Idk

not to be a debbie downer, the achievements are neat, but i wish they would take more into account what you have done, like there are things that are obvious that you have done them and the data is here, like exalted dragons or that you have certain vistas, but those achievements dont trigger because reasons....

the new system is good for new players and it basically says fuck you to the players that stuck around with the site for the last 10 years and we have to do basically all the shit over again we did ages ago, doing fucking all the swipp trades is just pain

I am so disappointed some of the chickens the same pose on the same dragon breed; I wanted to get one of each and give them ALL to the same dragon as a feral chicken-keeper but they won't all be visible. Boo.

Yeah I just realized that yesterday :( I wish they could at least be distributed to different locations on the dragon. Having a chicken perch on a dragon would be adorable
