For manual feeding, I bought hungry fodder, so that's something.
As for 123, I might look into finding some fodd breeders in grayscale, blues or pastel, those are pretty common.

Breeding 5k ancients tho...ugh

Yeah, for me, the whole 123 thing is just about having to actually look at what colors are consecutive and then trying to buy two unrelated that will give me exactly what I want (and remembering to breed them)

But, since these don't have to be done *now* I will look into completing the other easier achievements first (and wait for the hype to die down so that some of the prices for things go down). Thinking of trying to get back into coli'ing for those achievements....

yeah, its pretty clear to me that these achievements were designed with a timescale in mind. there's the super easy "play tidal trouble" style achievements that can be achieved within a few minutes/hours, but then once those easy ones are done there needs to be more challenging stuff. the 123 xyz and "breed x ancients" one speaks to this - i like that there's achievements that will require months if not years of planning and gameplay to get. keeps the system feeling fresh and makes you approach the game in a new way.

although i was thinking that if someone really whaled and bought thousands of boons of fertility, they could get those breeding based achievements in a day or so by buying tons of non-BCD fodder adults, booning them, then mass exalting all the hatchlings and repeating until they get the achievement. but it would probably cost around a million gems in boons to get both the modern and ancient breeding achievements

Yeah, I am the one who brought up the 123 thing, and to be clear, I am not upset that those achievements exist (just incase it could be mistaken that I was).

I also agree, I saw someone bring up exalting dragons and about no-exalt lairs on SMR, and my first thought was immediately 'did you honestly think they wouldn't have an achievement for a huge part of the game?' As a non-exalting lair myself, I fully expected there to be exalting achievements and I am glad to see that there are.

I also agree that there should be super easy achievements as well as achievements meant to be obtained further down the road, with or without planning.

I also agree with someone on SMR about it really seems like a lot of people do not play any other games like FR, or any other games at all, with how a lot of people complain about normal and common mechanics (such as achievements taking a long time, or the MP restocking, or even just having things that take longer than a few days to obtain).

A common theme with those that whine a lot about those things are that they mostly want instant gratification imo. Honestly they're most likely really annoying individuals I don't want to mingle with.

FR's achievement system as it is right now isn't any different from a lot of other game's. Hell, I'd say they're even generous as a lot of them don't even give rewards.

Completely agree.

I admit I want more instant gratification :P But I also had to learn patience when I was trying to do Neopets on Dialup. So, I realized that waiting, or things taking a while, isn't the end of the world (to me at least).
