Kinda bad honestly, because so many people are jumping ship. I managed to get most of my stuff sold a few months ago, but the leftovers are just not moving. Considering just closing my trade threads and waiting to see if dappervolk survives until summer to try again.

I've come to make an announcement. [Someone i have a personal vendetta against] is problematic. Here is the evidence:

- Supports art theft (source: purchased a single Spassow accent in 2018)
- Dismissive and rude attitude toward service workers (source: called Baldwin a "bastard" for not giving them purple sludge)

i know the whole point of ancient breeds is for them to not wear clothes because of their line breaking genes and the insane backlog of clothing items that hold up any and all new breeds but...i really wish i could put clothes on them. even just like...SOME clothes. like the festival apparel or something. i have a couple dragons that i love but it feels like theyre missing something

I don't invest. I set my nests up as a fodder generator, toss them in hibernal to adulthood, pull em out, level to 7 and exalt for 10k.

I mean, I have a few old site items from year one, but I don't recommend buying them for that outside a price dip

I got into FR a couple years back, when I was 18? Played for a couple years, but I've been trading on the black market the entire time. Spent 8+ hours a day easy just making money, starting drama, getting up to nearly a million gems. Really, REALLY stirred up some drama. Sold them all back for a profit. Did some bad things, scammed a couple people at some point too? It's been too long to remember. I lied a lot, I basically cheated the entire time I was online, broke nearly every rule in the book and put up this normal, harmless face while doing all this shit on the side.

Survived all the banwaves. But now I'm gone, and it doesn't matter anymore :)
Only posted because I feel bad. Miss the site, but there's nothing left for me anymore, and honestly, the community seems a little different from when I first joined XD Have fun!

tomorrow is my FR anniversary!!! i always forget it until i remember a week later!!! but this time!!!! i know for sure!!!!!!!

i've been playing since 2016 and while it's not as long as other players, i feel like i've accomplished quite a bit. i've got a bunch of oldies (one 5 digit and a literal dozen 6 digits), some double G1s i'm really proud of, a LOT of g1 wildclaws, a ton of l25s (statted and stoned at that), and even some pretty rare/expensive familiars i've had my eyes on for a while!

idc if i sound like i'm bragging, i'm proud of all the progress i've made over the years on this silly little petsite. as salty as it makes me, i really like how far i've come.

when did you start and how much progress have y'all made since then that you're proud of? share it!!! brag with me!!

I've been playing since 2015 and I'm proud of my oldies too (got a 5 digit and several 6 digits), my gened G1s, and a lot of fun memories of contributing to dom successes, back when dom was still very active and fun. I've never been a rich player and I doubt I ever will be but I'm pleased with my lair and what I have, and as long as I have fun with that I'll keep playing.

like obviously if you look at the thread youd probably figure it out, but if you're just browsing the auction page and you see some thread has like, idk 20+ pages, you're probably gonna be like "wow what's so special about this" and click it

ok its been a while since ive been active on fr but...when did dom get this boring? i just looked at the dom watch thread and there's really not another conquest battle until august?? how long has it been this way? :'(

It's been reaching this point for a few years. Dom battles started getting really expensive with more onsite players, because flights need more exalts to win and more players sell dragons to them. There's also the dom culture that kept asking for bigger raffles and higher payouts. It just isn't feasible to accept 200k+ dragons at a loss. I've heard stories of attendants who were down 40mT of their personal funds after accepting dragons from big battles, and I can only imagine the sorry state of dom banks.

question about multi-accounting

on a scale of one to ten, how worried should i be about getting banned for multi accounting if i'm using both accounts on the same device at similar times?

i got back into an old alt account i had made for lair space (before hibden was a thing) and i want to use it as it's own distinct account, different lair/clan theme, etc., but i am a bit worried about getting hit with a ban. would i be safe enough using two devices, even if activity times are similar (and just not sending items/dragons one way/in one sided transactions, etc.), or does it... not really matter? like do people only get banned for multi-accounting if someone reports them for it?

i've seen some super obvious multis (straight up stating it on their profiles) that stayed up a while until they were reported.

speculation, but my assumption would be that staff periodically checks certain flags, like maybe login/logout behavior on shared IPs. i don't think anyone knows exactly what they do or don't monitor. i would 100% assume they monitor things for cheating in general, so i don't think it's just reported accounts that get banned.

if you're worried about being banned, if you'd be upset by a ban, i'd cut your losses and ditch the second account. it doesn't seem worth losing years of progress and collecting because of a second account.
