*These subjects almost inevitably bring up Anti/Proship bullshit and there are folks on both sides who might be triggered by certain content, or feel dismissed by various argument points on both sides. As a result, THEY ARE  NOT ALLOWED. This site is for DRAGON DRAMA, not your Pro/Anti shipping bullshit. Take it to fandomwank or fandom_secrets or whatever other platform they're using nowadays.

I don't invest. I set my nests up as a fodder generator, toss them in hibernal to adulthood, pull em out, level to 7 and exalt for 10k.

I mean, I have a few old site items from year one, but I don't recommend buying them for that outside a price dip

The easiest thing to invest in would be the fest items, do what you can to save up Fest currency so you can buy multiples of the new fest item and the familiar, then wait and check the AH to see what they’re going for and list your duplicate items when you see a nice price. Depending on how long you can/want to wait for things to sell will determine how much you should undercut. for example, want to sell something currently priced at 250g quickly, undercut to 200g-220g, if you’re willing to wait, either price it the same as the current price or undercut by 5G

i don't invest so much as i flip. i flip fodder, pretty g1s, and new gene/breed releases. buy low, sell high. usually a waiting game, especially if i'm shoving dragons in my den to wait until fodder floor rises or waiting on the g1s to sell, but the investment is more than worth it. i can buy 100 pretty g1s and make back the cost with a single sale since i'm willing to wait and relist for ages.

you could pick any item or dragon market to watch, honestly. old dragons, specific rare but desirable color/gene combos, new coli familiars, retired apparel, rare baldwin/swipp materials...
