And if you're gonna breed 30+ pairs of fodder, you're kind of a dick clogging up nest rentals with that shit.
(I had to push back the breeding schedule of some of my pairs so their cooldowns don't coincide with this person's cooldowns because they manage to clog up like 30+ nests at once. JFC)

I'm not a fan of the skins where they put a human face where the pfp would show it. Some of them can be kind of cool, but man is it jarring to see in forums at times, haha.

Purchased a dragon to be part of a fodder pair for less than 10g on the AH, only for it to be a double legacy dragon of all things. I read through both threads and both claim that they can’t control descendants that get exalted, therefore they don’t mind, but this is also my first time keeping dedicated fodder pairs and I wanted to know what other people would do. This pair has a tight spread of colors that I want to keep. Am I fine if I proceed without ever interacting with the legacy threads? Is it more polite to reach out if any hatchlings are special (e.g. eyes)? If I decide to register at a later date, would it look funny that I’ve been creating fodder?
I’ve already accepted that if I don’t want the dragon anymore, I’ll reach out to either thread. I just have no idea if there’s any etiquette I should be aware of before I bother them. :’)

Is it a problem if I regene one? I got my first today and I remember idiots stirring stuff up about this in the past...
I remember a player who posted a lot in the Items for Sale forum, offering Gems for Treasure and Treasure for Gems at different rates. They had a distinctive forum signature: a screenshot of a dragon's face from some anime with the caption "you can't blame a dragon for making money", or something like that.
Does anyone recognize that player or recognize the dragon character? I think I looked it up once and the dragon was a teacher in some school...

I suddenly remembered years ago, perhaps 6-7, I chose to leave Flight Rising and liquidated all I owned to trade for art commissions. They weren't cheap. All the artists but one (I don't remember what their username was) finished the art they owned me.
The one that didn't finish was meant to do a pet portrait of my mother's horse that recently died. I paid around $100 worth of Treasure and Gems for that art, and I even told my mum that I was commissioning it for her...

I love that Staff are making the site more accessible for screenreaders and such, but I am so tired of being paranoid that I'm gonna get caught using a Userstyle to give the site a dark mode.
Please, Staff. I'm begging y'all. Give us an ETA on a built in dark mode, or give a CLEAR, DECISIVE statement that a Stylus/Userstyle extension is okay to use to alleviate my anxiety.

I basically wrote off the flaunt/flair gene pair for tundras as soon as I saw them and afterwards always thought it was because of the weird extra little sparkles added would look weird on fur?
But today I saw a flair scry that looked nice and thought huh... wonder if u could do something similar on a Tundra fluffyboye...
THE ANSWER IS FUCKING NO!!!! The gene artists rly went and gave them NOTHING on the wings. Where is the accent color!!!!!! The wings are a wasteland!!! I can only assume my brain forgot about this to protect myself??? So sad, OG fluffy dragons DENIED a good gene rep 😢 😞 😔 💔 💙 😪

Coming back after a few years away, was wondering what the best way to liquidate a lot of my items is. I've got tons of junk and familiars from coli grinding. I'm not in any huge rush to get rid of stuff but would like to covert stuff into treasure in case I do decide to actually *leave* FR (still deciding if I enjoy playing or not) so I can just easily send treasure out vs coordinating a bunch of item trades.
Just sell from the hoard? Or try doing auction listings? I figure selling from the hoard would be the easiest cause of how much crap I have, but wanted to see if anyone had other recommendations or how they liquidated their stuff.
