Elliot Page, formally known as Ellen Page*, had recently come out as transgender, and uses he/they pronouns. I'm glad for him, but I also feel a little shitty because my first thought was "ooh, how are they going to do the Umbrella Academy?" Because it would be weird right, to have the actor continue to play a cis woman character? Or am I overthinking? Maybe Vanya will come out as transgender, which could be cool if handled well. After all, Vanya was on brain drugs for most of her life; being off of them might help Vanya discover more about themself.
Anyway, anyone who's upset that they "lost a lesbian icon" or whatever can go step on Legos for all eternity. Best of wishes to Elliot, and to any of you all that is going through your own gender journey.

I'm exhausted and still have so much shit to do irl. I need to do my sister's main present still. I'm making her a dice chest; I bought a premade chest from Michael's, some wood stain, and some fabric to put inside so it's got a nice soft bit for her dice. I have to sand it down and stain and seal it still. Also went Christmas shopping for a ton of other people including my dad's wife (she gets some nice passive aggressive gifts as well as some cookbooks for her new ~vegan lifestyle~) an I still have to wrap and package everything up. Sigh.
This is the busiest holiday year I've had and it's the middle of a damn pandemic. I feel like it should be the opposite.

nah it was recently "released" but there hasn't been a news announcement yet for some reason. banescales got stained and veilspuns got underbelly, seems like they were activated earlier today
On our first thread we had 2232 comments with 41 screened, and on our last one for Halloween we had 1236 comments with 27 screened! Someone who's better at math than me and cares to go looking at the actual frozen comments to add to these statistics, feel free, but wow!

Several parallel genes are now available for ancient breeds! Stained is now available for Banescale, Gaoler, and Veilspun in the Gem Marketplace. Underbelly for Veilspun, Laced for Gaoler, Edged for Gaoler, Tapir for Banescale, and Striation for Banescale are now available in the Treasure Marketplace.

What did you do on FR this year to warrant some coal? Did you exalt unnamed to ruin someone's list? Did you say "no support" on a thread suggestion because you don't like the person suggesting? Tell me your naughtiness and if it's egregious enough (but not actually awful, if you stole from someone or tricked someone out of a high priced item/dragon you are 2naughty4me) I'll send you a present. It's what 100 coals turn in to ;) Yes, 100g if I find your naughtiness funny. Fo some fair chances, I'll send it next Saturday so we can crank up the naughty/pettiness hehe.
As for my own naughty list...
My friend saw a dragon that has my dream colours and wanted to show it to me. Turns out, OP had me blocked so I couldn't see it. I told friend that and they said that I obviously definitely needed the dragon then if that was the case. We went halfsies on it and he bought it and then sent it to me. OP saw the dragon in my lair and unblocked me to tell me I block evaded in a pm. I said I didn't even interact with the before when they had blocked me (which is true) and that my friend bought the dragon and gave it to me (which is also true enough lol). They blocked me again and nothing came of it.
......I have since exalted or resold the dragon, I really don't remember which because it sat on my project tab for like 6 months untouched.
Also the user in question is a known hoarder of g1s and swindles people all the time for shit so I feel no guilt having done that. However, my friend legitimately saw the dragon in the AH and was like "hey you like these colours you should get it", I don't go looking at peoples' lairs who have me blocked trying to block evade. This was just too good an opportunity to pass up.
Also don't forget, I'll pick someone next Saturday (12/12) to give a little present to! I might even pick a few more people, it is the holiday season and giving is fun.

I have on one of my tabs that I'm happy to give failed hatchlings from my breeding pairs on request as non-exalt fodder. However, all my breeding pairs are veilspuns atm and they're still selling well.

I’m honestly embarrassed to be in this chat sometimes given how a vast majority of the users treat it like a friend chat instead of a public server and don’t even get me started on the mods.. I have often been replied to publicly very rudely because for some reason they can’t think to dm someone instead. I really cannot believe that this one person in particular is allowed to be a moderator given how extremely unprofessional they are. Watching them try to mod is truly one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen and it often makes me consider leaving the discord. Imagine trying to actually get g1 help and you see this idiot posting some horrible clown emoji as a response to almost everything.

Since it lists for 3,500t, lower than the fodder apparel floor tends to be, they usually get snapped up fast, for that if nothing else. But yeah, their current 40+kt AH price tag is higher than I've seen them in the past.
