why has their profile been completely blanked out? did something happen to them? i know a lot of ARR thinks they're exhausting, but at this point i'm kind of worried about them, especially since they posted kind of normally on their adopt thread.

If you look at their and TwinFish's profile comments (haven't looked at winterlywytch's yet) about July 17th, they started posted about drama mongering people and people not letting it go, so I have the feeling they probably read some of the drama sites.

As far as I am aware, nothing else major has happened, but they have been brought up on both this site and SMR lately (though I don't recall whether it was more 'I was just reminded this user existed' or about actual drama they were involved in)

It is WinterlyWitch (saw the Y and thought it was in Witch...) and there is nothing on their profile comments about this, though they have posted on AC's profile with some comments alluding to whatever happened.

My guess is that they saw this SMR post - dated July 14th - and then catastrophized. Their main and FR blogs seem to have been deactivated.

I realize my last sentence makes me sound like I’m going “ugh nasty SMR regulars” but we have some people who are weird about AC too. Last thread had people claiming AC was racefaking as Lakota, and another person doubting AC was taking advantage of Texas’s Lakota-specific protections. We and SMR are cousins and we grew up on the same shitty cul-de-sac

I tried to look at their tumblr to see if they posted any rants about drama but I don't see anything. Best guess is they read up on all the things people were saying about them on this site and aren't feeling too great about it. Funny how their sister will say we're all "drama mongers who can't think for ourselves" when AC was the one who posted that weird rant about adoptables to their blog. If they didn't want the "drama" then they should stop posting things like that to stir it up. Them saying they wish people would leave them alone is valid, I'm sure it's exhausting to see someone post about you on a drama site. On the other hand, I don't feel too bad for them because they have been at this shit for years and you'd think they'd learn by now that people will bring up those sorts of things when they see them.

When you have a long as fuck blog post about the site's community & staff and how they are all ableists and shit, I think it goes past people just trying to dig up drama lol. AC has pretty much documented all the "drama" themself so it's partially on them at this point. They'll probably be back and I wouldn't worry about them too much.

i know that AC has a history of being really whiny, but i got super worried about them because almost every dragon they have has some form of "sorry" or "useless" in their bios. i grabbed a few screenshots but could someone archive their lair?

On june 17, 18, 19, they changed their profile NUMEROUS times and then changed everything back and acted like nothing happened.

Also nonny please do not feel sorry for them. They pull this "woe is me" shit all the time to garner sympathy and they do nothing more than spread toxicity and claim everyone is a transphobe or ableist when someone disagrees with them on something. Or when they ask all the time for kindness when they are the most unkind person I have ever witnessed. They claim that people make shit up about them when everything is clearly documented with archived pages which can not be tampered with. Also they had for literal years their 15k hate manifesto up that was just lies and slander. How do they think those people in the manifesto felt? But they do not think about other people, they clearly only think about them self.

They are a fucking hypocrite and everybody should know that.

I would have been worried initially as well as I've never been super interested in keeping up with astral drama thus I'm not always aware of their repeated behaviours but even as just a casual onlooker, this is just strange. Surely they have a private chat with their sister and partner, I genuinely fail to see why they would want to communicate their issues in textwalls through FR profile comments of all things unless the purpose is for strangers to see it and feel bad? Not even gonna use PMs, literally just comments which is notoriously like the worst way to talk to someone on this site? And, wiping your bio and going around in your lair to purposefully edit tab names and dragon bios to say edgy things as well as setting the avatar to a blank space (going out if their way to use a marva cloak for it?) just reminds me of my teen angst, the sole purpose of that would also be for friends / strangers to see and feel bad. Ooo I changed my discord icon into an empty black PNG don't talk me I angy

I'm not saying any of this can't be a cry for help, it absolutely can, but I guess we already know with astral that it's not really in their interests to actually stop the flow of drama or distance themselves from it despite claiming to be so hurt by it. Everyone on FR knows that it's really not that hard to let the drama fizzle out and not reignite it. I've been a subject of some low tier drama on old anonrising several years ago but I didn't even know the site existed at that point so I was just going on with my life until I learned way later that it had even happened. This stuff is so inconsequential, everyone will move on if nothing new is fed to the pot

i used to be a Hot Topic of drama back in the day. know what i did to move past it? i stopped being a shithead. turns out most people will stop giving a shit once you do that! there will always be people who cant let it go and will drag you at every opportunity no matter what, i still get posted sometimes for literally no reason, but it's just something you have to live with when you've been an asshole. even if you arent an asshole now

maybe AC will stop being an asshole some day

thank you! it was a very tall uphill battle for me (extreme mental health / psychotic break issues) but i like to think im better now :) and dare i even say... a pleasant person to be around. instead of a miserable buffoon

I noticed as well after I came across their suggestions post while casually browsing the forums, got me curious. I guess we can't know what exactly happened but taking into consideration the vicious drama cycle they seemingly can't help but continue participating in, it makes sense to think they probably read up on recent stuff about them. Maybe. I honestly don't know how much of it is even real and how much is an act, they've gone and named their lair tabs "trash" and are straight up claiming they "don't know what they did wrong" again which is... hard to take seriously at this point... but also I do wanna be careful not to be an outright asshole about someone who clearly is still struggling a lot so idk. I hope they get to feel better soon and stuff

This is actually something they do pretty regularly (clearing their profile page + avatar and then crytyping on their parter and siblings pages). It happened last month too and then they restored their profile and kept playing as usual.

Yeah I have real trouble feeling any sympathy for them at this point. Just seems like another attention seeking ploy. If they are actually 34 as they claim and are regularly acting like this... good god. I feel deeply for anyone who has to put up with their behavior irl.

They do this any time they're upset at backlash. They'll post a long rant about how everyone is -ist, disappear, and reappear in a month or so because they can never stay away.

where is the backlash though? the only time i've seen big AC wank was them complaining about their Emperorz (which was yikes) and talking about their multi-ring. do they think that this constitutes as backlash?

i am worried about them, though. i don't know. being online doesn't seem like a good thing for them and i hope they get the help they need so they can stop... all of this.

Exhausting is an understatement. But honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if either staff did it or they erased everything out of sheer paranoia because everyone is *obviously* trying to kill them.

Honestly, if AC didn’t do it themselves, staff would have wiped this bio eventually. It used to have a list of playstyles they would block people over and that is basically a DNI.
For context AC called marketplace resellers ableists and classists, and declared they would be blocked for their personal wellbeing or whatever. Also had a funny tidbit about blocking ppl who blocked them first because clearly that person blocked them to stalk them(?)

okay I'm sorry but it's really funny that the utilized a FR apparel item (invisibility cloak) as part of their public pity party #568. once you've set your avatar you can't undo it, they just put an invisibility cloak on one of their dragons lol

All of Twinfish's and WinterlyWitch's comments on their profile are gone and their bio's been cleaned up. I did report those comments (because that kind of public venting shit doesn't belong on FR) so I wonder if staff gave them a warning or something.
