yes, i know we are not entitled to a fest raffle from flights and that people have their lives to live and that it's only been an hour since rollover. no, that will not stop me complaining about fire not having their raffle up yet because i'm impatient.

I am an ember, not on Discord so idk what discussion is happening there but on the forums one of our dom leads said this:

"We have had some delays in graphics as well as some slight timezone-related issues sadly."

They also explained that the raffle thread can only be edited by Duchess, though since it looks like it's still blank I think someone should just make a new one.

Hello! Pessi/AA member here:

The OP has not been online both on FR and on Discord, so I had to take the reigns a bit and notify others to make the new threads for now while they are (and I during the time of hearing this was) away- we do not know why they are offline currently. We are sincerely sorry for the delay that was caused.

Also, banners/headers will be put up tomorrow, i’d have them finished sooner, but I do need to go to bed due to work tomorrow. Expect them to be done a few hours after 6PM EST. Work has been assuredly started on them, but I wanted to make sure that the raffles went ahead and be posted and some clear communication is given in regards to this.

Should any further questions need answering, I do recommend contacting me on discord (iipessimystic) so that I or another member I can refer said questions to can address ‘em in a timely manner as I rarely check this site.

Again, sincere apologies :(

it must suck to be part of the site's most incompetent dom team, huh. Duchess mysteriously disappearing couldn't have possibly been accounted for, and I hope they're okay, but- you didn't have a plan B in case the person in that position suddenly couldn't do their job, such as if an unexpected emergency came up? You didn't even have the graphics ready?? YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE GRAPHICS READY???

Hey there!

I used to do dom organization years ago, and was put into a similar situation. The user who insisted on doing the oof raffle entirely solo disappeared (went on vacation without mentioning it) a few days before and left nothing but the sheet with the prizes done. When it was clear they weren't going to show, a few others and I scrambled to do the entire thing the night the raffle should've went up. We got it done and it turned out alright, but it was incredibly stressful and soured my feelings on dom stuff.

Anyway, point being, please take your time and don't worry about randos online being pushy about it. The situation you're in is horrible and not something you could plan for, and at the end of the day this is just a game we're all supposed to have fun with. HOWEVER

these threads look terrible right now, looking forward to having the graphics and really being able to see the theme, its my favorite part of festivals

I didn't have dragons to send the first half of the week, so I missed all of this; however, my gripe is pretty consistent to Fire:

I don't know what particular security loophole y'all think you're fixing by not allowing people to copy attendants' usernames directly from the spreadsheet, but it makes pitching dragons to you vastly less tempting.

+1. Was planning on chucking fodder to them too. Some of the attendants have usernames that need double/triple-checking for spelling that's harder to do on mobile.

Pretty sure they locked the copying after Fire shot themselves in the foot by trying to do shitty spreadsheet things during one of Fire v Shadow battles without fully locking down their own sheet. Every other flight somehow manage to secure that particular security problem without the 'copy protection'.

Honestly our Foddart has always been one of Fire Dom's (few) strong points and best organized events. Now if only we could run our raffles like that ;v;

The fodderart thread is always successful because Duchess doesn't get involved with it. She let's others handle that because of the fiasco a few years ago with the battle against light.
