Getting this error on every FR page. A quick search showed that this is an issue some other users have too requiring them to clear their cache.

I got this problem 2 days ago and cleared my cache but now it's back. Anyone experienced this before? Any permanent fix (besides switching to incognito every time I want to play FR)?

If it works in incognito then it's likely a profile issue; something is going wrong somewhere in there! When any of my browsers pull that stunt I backup my bookmarks and remove the install completely (both via package manager and by purging any leftovers; I think Windows has similar add/remove options + cache/config/'ghost' files per profile?) and a clean install almost always fixes it. The only time it hasn't, it turned out to be a bug the developers released a fix for in the next update.

A clean install is also a good way to test out plugins one at a time when it's fresh, to ensure it's none of those misbehaving with some background update they didn't inform you of. And if Windows is being an ass about actually doing a clean removal, I believe that there's third party programs that search for and remove any ghost files left behind.

And of course it likely isn't the cause, but I like to power cycle the net and do IP + DNS just on superstition at this point. I swear sometimes it fixes things that it's not even supposed to interact with (probably actually a coincidence, but eh, it doesn't hurt.)

This isn't drama but I literally don't know where else to ask this. There used to be (hopefully still is) an artist in the Art Sales forum that did signatures that were like, exquisitely detailed and beautiful eye pictures. Just the eyes (and that section of the head) and INSANE quality and detail.

My apologies for taking this offsite, but winter events are taking up far too much of my social energy to communicate non-anonymously if I can possibly avoid it. Or if this has already been answered somewhere and I just didn't see it. But if anyone on our dom team, or who just happens to be smarter than I, is here and can answer, I'd appreciate it.

Are in-flighters permitted to pay for ornaments/badges with personally exalted levels? If not, is there any need to keep tracking IDs (besides the Ecosystem, which has always been a little intimidating for me to get involved with).

And if so, can we still keep recording exalts for raffle tickets after we've gotten all the badges we want (which might not happen of course, I haven't mathed it out yet, but there's so much pretty art I'm drooling over. Kudos to my talented flightmates!)?

So, I get the whole 'it's okay if I break a rule because I understand the SPIRIT of why that rule was made and I'm not violating that spirit' mindset.

As an analogy, I'm an urbexer RL, meaning I recreationally and knowingly break the law, trespassing into whatever abandoned structures I can find a way to wriggle into. I don't spray-paint, leave trash, or steal artifacts - I don't even go inside if I can't figure out how to enter without causing new damage. Neither do I have any intention to sue if I get my dumb ass injured. Those are the kind of behaviors the laws I am breaking exist to prevent, so my conscience doesn't have a problem.

However, if I were to get caught - I don't expect anyone to be telepathic. Nobody has any reason to trust that my motives are purely 'I want to take cool pictures and dreamily reflect upon entropy'. So if I ever do get in actual trouble over this, well, them's the breaks.

Similarly, if you are opposed to people creating extra accounts for an economic advantage - do you think the FR team has the time or resources to monitor every 'ethical multi-accounter' to make sure that's not what's happening? Would you want to put that burden on them? A one human=one account rule is much simpler to enforce. Of course they're still not catching everybody that way, and sadly there are probably some false positives too, but there's never going to be a perfect compromise between allowing cheaters to create infinite accounts for free stuff and requiring you to use your social security number to sign up.

There's certainly an argument/suggestion to be made for official 'sub-accounts' that are locked out of dailies/freebies, can't access flight forums, etc, but until that functionality is implemented, all you can create is another full-fledged account, and anonymously pinky-swearing that you won't abuse it isn't particularly reassuring.

Please, in multi-just-for-aesthetics cases I take the stance that it doesn't exist: you are profiting from having an extra account, double gathering turns, double bonuses, cheaper lair spaces and everything. Just because two separate FR accounts get the 'profit' and not one (no funneling) still means that the same one human is profiting.

I prefer the term 'trans man,' myself, because I'm not female, and never have
been. My trans lady friends don't like the term MtF, either. Generally, it's polite NOT to use that term unless you use it yourself, or know the person in question is okay with it.

That being said, trans women get shat on a lot, so is it any surprise that they're quiet about being trans? And trans men get purposely ignored by FARTs in an attempt to invalidate them, so they can be a bit more open about their identity.

It's not a FR thing, it's a general thing.

Just went to Fiona and she had some new achievements, there are three new recolors of NOTN familiars to pick up! I'm in love with the Corvid Lamp, ravens are awesome and the description even mentions how good they are at mimicking sounds! Best familiar everrrrrrrrrr

so i used to be big into flight rising and then fell off after uhhhhh some Stuff happened and now im quarantined and bored and idk i'm tempted to just delete my account and start completely over. do you think it would be a bad idea? i'm not really feeling into any of my old gen 1 projects and my lair is full of fodder and it's just so much to relearn at once

personally I think it'd be easier to jump back in? - you don't need to level/exalt all that fodder and if you really wanted to start fresh you could sell/giveaway whatever you had left, that way you still have a little treasure/gems to work with to redo your lair

that's just my 2c though! if you end up feeling overwhelmed with selling i'd be willing to find dragon sales of similarly aged/gened gen1s for you/deal with the new gen1 spreadsheet/site!

The last time I traded T>G was a month or so ago at a 1:1100 rate, and I think it's been hovering around 1:1050-1:1100 for the past few months as far as I can remember. What has made it jump 100t so quickly? Did I just get lucky with a low rate? I need answers.

this is just my theory but probs no-spend november jumping directly into notn.

its easy to get treasure from onsite tasks, while (F2P) gem methods usually entail selling in the AH and few people were buying. more people have treasure, fewer people have gems, and people are prepping for notn's gem MP items now.
