I don't get why people are so upset over this. I think FR has one of the fairest IRL money transaction systems that I know of. I really fail to see what other game has a better system than this.

Sure, the items are cycling but if you missed out on them then you can always wait for later. There is nothing gem-related in FR that is permanently retired.

They are not cycling, so waiting for later is not an acceptable option - "cycles" imply regularity. Seasonal winds cycle, wait 9 months and you got your stuff. Pirate gear, Notn stuff cycles, wait a year and here's your stuff. This? A couple of random days maybe once a year, maybe every two months, maybe once in three years.

honestly id consider fest items retiring to be a FOMO tactic as well and its one of the most prominent features of the site. imo items being cycled is better than them being permanently retired, in terms of FOMO.

and big agree that FR's premium currency system is one of the best. the fact that you have many (viable!) venues to get premium currency as a non-paying user is seriously incredible compared to most other games.

Hard agree on the currency system being one of the best. You can earn them through chests, sell stuff to players, or buy them from other players with treasure. You don't need to buy them with cash. Buying with cash is just a way to quickly grab some if you can afford to.
