Yes. They're the one who had the list of thread killer accents that made a lot of accent artists, including one of my favs, quit making accents entirely.

The when their post was edited to remove these, as it was considered calling out behavior, they threw a passive aggressive fit.

a couple of posts up from the one you linked has an image with the "AdobeStock" watermark all over it, which is already rife with ai-genned content. but even the watermark looks weirdly blurred/painted, so i'm beginning to think it's a mix of both. i imagine using a filter could also try to "cover their tracks" if/when they *do* use ai images.

It does have the feel of AI, but it also has the feel of one of those shitty filters that melt everything together. The worst part is, both feelings are equal.

if it is, the op probably didnt make it. they said they “find” the landscapes, not that they draw them, they probably just got it off google and didnt know.

do they have the rights to the landscape images theyre using? probably not. do i care? no, theyre doing something transformative and theyre not claiming it as their own or anythung. you cant condemn this without also condemning every collage.

what is it about the slightest hint of ai art that makes you all feel justified in being so mean

The sign in the linked artwork looks like a very smudged attempted at spelling out "Mistral Jamboree", which I find very damning. That's a wild coincidence if true.

Regardless of your personal stance on AI artwork, Flight Rising does not consider it to be artwork, and it is not permitted on site, full stop. If you want to use AI art, go to the dozens of other social media sites that don't forbid it, simple as.

im not defending ai im defending the op. i think theyre posting it by accident bc theyre just getting the images off adobe stock and dont know what theyre doing so im disappointed people are being mean to them. not everybody can identify ai art on sight

Nonny my dayjob has to do with art and a quite a few complaints from various fields have been complaining about the useage of generative AI, there is no art with "AI" infront of it.

I don't condone plagiarism and that is all generative AI. Take your takes reddit or twitter/X.
