I hate it when I get pinged for a skin, see the preview image, then check the skin and see the preview image has NO SHADING on it. It is lowkey deceiving what the skin will look like on your dragon. I have seen this trend now more and more and it is just so annoying to me as a potential customer. If i get pinged for a skin and i see there is no shading layer turned on the preview image i just close the tab.

At least the one you linked has the boxes off to the side. I can live with a skin maker who does that since I can at least preview it on my dragon if they went ahead and got it approved ahead of time.

My absolute favorite thing is when there's no reSKIN, no shading, and they slapped an ~*aesthetic*~ gradient over the featureless silhouette so that I can't even guess what it'll look like on my dragons. I have literally blocked people over this so I stop getting pings for their shops.

I mean, I personally don't find what elv did to be annoying because they already have their skins on site. They literally aren't deceiving you, the final product is right there next to the preview and you are free to use that to see what it will look like on your dragon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

anon did you read my mind I was literally thinking about this yesterday LMAO i agree so much like i get that the shadows and lines will always be there because of the rules but the previews without them + what other anon said about the gradients always make me think a skin will look banger and then on an actual dragon it's... fine :// anyway yeah i absolutely fucking agree
